really enjoying airbnb so far!
Am was a fantastic host! She was very flexible and understanding when we were running late for check-in due to traffic. Am was easily available throughout our stay and willing to offer advice on navigating DC. This apartment is well equipped and very reasonably priced for DC.
Very convenient with friendly neighbors. A good bargain if you are looking for something small but well equipped.
First, a huge thank you to Alex. We had another location booked in DC but an apartment flood required a last minute alternate plan. Alex came through. In addition, our flight arrived at Regan late in night, so, by taxi, we didn’t arrive ‘till close to midnight. There was Alex waiting for us. Then, to top things off, she gave us use of her SmartTrip card. Alex’s place is a bit far out in the NE but once one masters D8 and G8 the journey is a neat adventure. Her place is comfy and fulfilled our needs. Good shower, good bed and a kitchen area with full amenities were appreciated. It’s worth a giggle as to the extra creams, lotions and edibles available in the place. Thanks Alex, good luck with future bookings.
Charming and cozy apartment in DC. Comfy bed and great heat (it was snowing the day I arrived!) It's a 10 min walk to 2 metro stops and literally steps from CUA campus. Alex was a wonderful host. My flight was delayed by a few hours, but she was patient and willing to work with me. Communication was great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs a convenient and comfy place to stay in the city.
The reservation was canceled the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Alex was a great host! We had to find housing on incredibly short notice and she was super responsive and helped us arrange a place to stay in less than 24 hours!
Her apartment was clean, cozy and comfortable.
This is a sweet place, great for a couple or single. Very close to buses...the bus to Union Station stops just outside the door...takes about 45 minutes. The Rhode Island Red line is about a mile away. The neighborhood is pretty quiet although some of the neighbors were roudy one evening. But we felt very safe and we used Alex's parking space, which worked out great.
The bed is comfortable and wifi worked well although I don't do much more than email and searching for info. There is a ceiling fan and a window AC unit...Being on the ground floor, we didn't open the windows.
We didn't actually meet Alexandra but she was very responsive through email, and her friend and upstairs' neighbor was great, helped us find the parking and got us oriented. We are an older couple and enjoyed the youthful exuberance of the place. It has all the basic necessities and was very clean inside.
It's a row house with the spaces in a row and interconnected, and only the bathroom has a door. The bedroom has a nice bed (although one person has to sleep against the wall); the kitchen and a two-seater couch is in the next section and on the main street is a table with a comfortable reading chair. it was fine for a week and much better to give an artist and musician like this the rent money rather than to an impersonal chain hotel. Thanks, Alex!
Alex was a great host, would definitely stay here again!
Very nice guest, simple, adaptable, clean. Welcomed any time in my place.
Very polite, clean and organized. Thank you for being a great host.
Am and her friends were great to have around.
Everything good with her and company, clean, and organized.
Alex and her partner were great guest, they were respectful and clean.
I'd definitely host their stay again!
