My passions are scuba diving, yoga, Pilates, traveling, theatre, health, nutrition, and learning about preparing and eating more raw, vegan foods.
I travel to visit with family and friends or to dive the world's best dive sites. I've been to some very remote places (e.g. Andaman Islands, India; Cocos Island, Costa Rica; Galapagos Islands; Marshall Islands; Raja Ampat, Indonesia) as well as some of the greatest cities (e.g. Chicago, Copenhagen, London, Los Angeles, Memphis, Mexico City, Moscow, New Orleans, New York City, Paris, San Francisco, Singapore, St Petersberg, Sydney, Toronto.) I love it all.
When at home my routine is to juice vegetables in the morning, make a salad or smoothie or hummus or all of the above to eat for the rest of the day.
When traveling I look for vegetarian or vegan restaurants serving fresh local food. We are fortunate here in Phoenix to have a small, but wonderful selection of such establishments. Excellent nourishment for body and soul is the goal.
My home is near a canal with a walkable/run-able/bike-able flat canal bank. The Phoenix Mountain Preserve park is about two miles away with trails for nearly every ability. There are also workout gyms nearby: Koko Fit, The Training Room, as well as yoga and Pilates studios.
