it was not bad though - (+) quiet and nice neighbors (-) some issues on hot water, but it worked properly after two days.
I really enjoyed hosting Maggie. She is a delightful house guest and a considerate independent traveller.
Maggie and her group were great. Maggie was extremely communicative, easy to deal with, and appreciative. She and her group left the house clean and neat, and we'd have them back any time.
Maggie and her friends were quiet, hardworking guests. They left the house in very good order and Maggie was always quick and responsive her her communications. I would recommend her anytime.
Maggie's parents were great guests! Very low maintenance and very responsive. We would definitely book with them again!
Maggie was a very sweet and personable guest. I would have her again in my home.
During the couple of nights that they stayed with us, Maggie and her father were a pleasure to host. They were clean, polite, quiet, and courteous. I would gladly have them back as guests if they chose to visit the area again!
Maggie was self-sufficient and resourceful. We would welcome her in our home again anytime!
It was late and rainy and we had just met at the Social Photo Sharing 3.0 conference on Stanford's campus and had really hit it off. Both of us had booked hotel rooms with co-workers for this conference. We were trying to - at the suggestion of everyone else in the bar - find a room.
"Do you really think Airbnb will work? For, you know, for us?" I asked.
She rolled her eyes and pulled out her Android phone. A few moments later, she pointed and said said "this way" while I piloted the zipcar.
We found ourselves rolling past Red Rock ("I once met the guy who has the most HN karma there!" She was such a one-upper.) and arrived at Maggie's beautiful Airbnb startup villa.
Maggie met us as we pulled into the driveway. "Look," she said, "we're about to go out, so you two will have the house to yourselves for the evening. Try not to break anything, and don't worry about locking the door when you leave tomorrow morning." She paused. "And you," she
said, looking pointedly at me, "there's plenty in the fridge to make her a nice breakfast in the morning. Be a gentleman." Duly noted.
A+++++. Would stay again.
Maggie and I have been close friends since high school. I stayed with her for a few days so that I could catch up with her and also interview for jobs in the area.
She is very laissez-faire. We cooked dinner together a couple times, and had some good talks, but we also just acted like house mates and each did our own thing for much of the day.
She is kind and thoughtful and wants to make sure her guests are comfortable.
She is always interesting to talk with about anything from music to politics to philosophy to computer programming. She can also just be whimsical, playful, and a lot of fun!
