I am originally from Southern California, but made Washington my home when I was first stationed here in 2002 (your parents decide where your from, but you decide where your home is, right?). I am active duty Coast Guard and live in Poulsbo, WA with my wife, Kim. I have been in the Coast Guard since 2000 and love the work I do. In my spare time I volunteer at the Point Wilson Lighthouse where I am trying to bring life back to the place. I love the outdoors and the Arts in ALL forms.
Kim was born in Texas, but moved to Delaware when she was young. We met in the Coast Guard as Kim was active duty from (phone number hidden). She went on to get a degree in Philosophy from Purdue University and now works as a teachers assistant at the Montessori Country School on Bainbridge Island while she awaits her training to become Montessori certified in Early Childhood Education. In our spare time, other than spending time with our pets, going to the lighthouse, or just being outdoors, we love to attend the local farmers markets and events and have taken up traditional Nordic dancing!
