we stayed at Bonnie and Jay's for 2 nights end of September. This was our first stop in a short road trip around San Francisco. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and wilderness around the house that is very close to Point Reyes national park. The bungalow was a charming place as for the Californian breakfast Bonnie cooked for us every morning served in the patio by the pool. Maya was lovely seeking to play with us and a very respectful dog. Bonnie is a very approachable person, she gave us plenty of ideas where to head to for sightseeing in the area. The room felt a bit cold the first, maybe especially after 11 hours of flight, being tired while arriving in the night. Be sure to have a flashlight with you if you arrive by night to walk from the car to the entrance if you arrive by night. Bonnie provided one for our stay. Overall very satisfied!
My partner and I celebrated our anniversary in Bonnie's lovely space and had a great time. The area is gorgeous and smells fabulous and we had a great hike up into the hills. The breakfast Jay made was amazing! Plus, Maya and Moe were super cute dogs to play with (especially with Maya bringing us fun objects to toss for her). We will gladly come back again, as soon as we can! Thank you for your kindness and conversation, Bonnie!
Room was spacious and comfortable. Hosts are friendly and welcoming, and breakfast on the patio was THE BEST! A PERFECT WEEKEND GETAWAY!
My boyfriend, pup and I had a wonderful time at Bonnie and Jay's! It was a wonderful laid-back environment in a beautiful neighborhood. There are plenty of dog-friendly trails nearby to explore. Bonnie was a fantastic host and treated us to a delicious breakfast each morning. I'm looking forward to our next trip already!
We enjoyed Bonnie and Jay's warm and cozy nook in their Lagunitas' nature hideout. It did have a 70's laid-back feel and also reminded me of staying with relatives in the Caribbean - unpretentious, nice, real people who made us a delicious breakfast at 745 am to make it to our kayak reservation time! It was much farther from Bodega Bay than I thought, but Bonnie was helpful in giving directions and orienting us to the area, which helped up to get in time everywhere we needed to be.
We very much enjoyed Bonnie's and Jay's place. Very true to the Marin County vibe and lovely surroundings. Everything was tidy and comfortable. Both Bonnie and Jay made us feel welcome. Thanks, for a nice hang!
This is a wonderfully quiet place with a very comfortable bed. No complaints. And the breakfast the next morning on the patio was outstanding! Bonnie and Jay have a little slice of heaven. Check it out.
Bonnie and Jay are wonderful hosts! They welcomed us into their home and made us feel like old friends from the beginning. They seem to have captured the nice relaxed atmosphere of a good music festival in their own back yard.
We had a wonderful stay with Bonnie and Jay. They have a wonderful place nestled in the backwoods, gardens, and of course a lovely private studio room. Loved the black bean trellises.
Bonnie and Jay were great hosts. Even more so they are really nice people. The room is very comfortable. I only wish we had more time to hang out and explore. The big feature for us was easy access to San Geronimo golf for an early tee time. Game on!
Response from Bonnie:
Thanks Vince! I will follow your suggestion and reach out to other golfers.
