I was born in New Zealand and have been living in London for over 10 years after living in Australia. I was also lucky enough to live in Germany for six months.
I keep adding travel destinations to my list of places to go, unfortunately most of the places I have been merely get shifted to the "would love to visit again" list. I spent three months travelling and camping in Africa and it was a brilliant experience, however these days I prefer four walls and a few more creature comforts!
I am an avid reader with a varied taste, although I tend to get stuck in one genre for a while before I move on to something else. I like the theatre and plays in particular. But nothing makes me happier that a live music gig. My musical tastes are fairly eclectic, if I hear something I like I will buy it but lean towards rock music/indy bands. I love to dance but nothing formal, just a some good tunes, good people and moving as the music takes you.
I am used to travellling solo so am fairly self sufficient but really like the idea of being able to meet locals to share conversation and maybe a drink or more. To me the place you visit is a better experience when you connect with the people who live there. People and landscape are an integral part of a place, I believe each shapes each other. Aside from that I just like meeting new people.
