I'm best described as an avid traveller and lover of languages and cultures. I lived in Japan for 3 years and am a fluent Japanese speaker, and looking towards finding my niche in the world (which is hopefully anywhere around the world!). I work an hour away but love living in San Francisco. I fill my days here downward dog-ing, bumping to bass, sunning myself in the park, touring new breweries, and adding to my list of favorite restaurants. Operation "Fully enjoy my 20's" is in motion!!
Whenever I travel, my goal is to see through a local's eyes. Everywhere I visit, I wonder, what would it be like to live here, what does this place have to offer that I can't find anywhere else? I typically skip the main attractions for a more intimate experience, try to have genuine conversations, and get swept up in the city's atmosphere. I'll never forget when I lost my passport in Rome's airport, and a kind stranger on the frantic train ride back consoled me and helped me find it. After my ordeal was over, he even bought me a cappuccino. If I stay with you, I'll be asking about your favorite restaurants, hang outs, and off-beat peculiarities.
