I'm a writer and private dealer of fine art. My particular areas of interest in the arts include the Abstract Expressionists of the New York School, and work by contemporary German artists. These interests extend to the work of the Surrealists as well as work by Self-Taught Artists.
My most recent novel, "The Museum of Tears" was written this past year while living and traveling in India and Morocco. It is a fate v. free-will tale of magical realism which takes place in North Africa at the turn of the last century.
I was born and raised in the United States, and have lived abroad for periods of time in France, Belgium, India and Morocco. My academic work was done at Yale University.
In addition to my literary interests and work with fine art, I have extensive experience in the healing arts. I am also the founder and director of Small World Productions, an independent film development and production company which has produced award-winning short, documentary and feature films.
