My very traditional stone house is situated just on the edge of a peaceful village with unspoilt views over the Auvezere valley. So it benefits from privacy as well as being part of a welcoming community. I have been living here for twelve years, but I have owned the house and barn for twenty two years. It's a wonderfully creative space with a very eclectic mix of flowers, fruit trees and vegetables. I have a Chartreux cat called Ella.
i am a poet and a gardener and ride my electric bike into the nearby town of Excideuil most mornings to either read or write. I have a good collection of music, mainly jazz, but there's a bit of everything. I also have a huge collection of film on VHS and some dvd. I love cooking and especially experimenting with produce from the garden and the edible plants growing around here.
This place is very rural and the community is deep rooted but in fact there's a new cosmopolitan community growing in size which livens up the place. There's always something interesting going on.
Above all I think this is a restful place with quite a unique atmosphere.
