My partner and I are easy-going people who appreciate art and music, and love to get out and enjoy sports in nature (particularly beach walks, kiteboarding, and snowboarding). Our cat and dog love to spend time with us when we are gardening.

This a great little place. Very clean and comfortable surrounded by beautiful nature. The privacy and quietness of the place is awesome since it's detached from the main house.
Sandra was very responsive I setting up the stay. Everything went very smoothly.
Nice little place! Really appreciated that they had a bunch of condiments, seasonings and other small kitchen items that suck to buy for just one or two uses. Had everything we needed. Nice forested back yard and great cedar smells. It is as good as the description.
We absolutely love Sandra's place! We don't want to leave! :( the apartment is beautiful, spotlessly clean, comfortable and welcoming. We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to stay again if we came back to Vancouver Island (pity it is so far from Australia! I would come back again in a heartbeat!)
Beautiful property and lovely stay.
A lovely place to stay, very cosy and clean. It's close to mount Washington and some nice beaches.
The Dancing Trees Cottage is a beautiful, warm place to stay! Sandra was very nice and welcoming. The cottage is equipped with all of the essentials for having a comfortable and enjoyable time. My boyfriend and I took advantage of the wide assortment of board games, while sitting in front of the fireplace. The free popcorn and pancakes are an awesome little gesture! If I were to visit Comox again, I would definitely book at the Dancing Trees!
Dancing Trees was as described: comfortable space, quiet location, plenty of amenities to help you feel at home. Not somewhere you'd want to stay without a car, but a great base for checking out the Comox Valley.
Sandra was very responsive and the place was absolutely perfect!! Clean, comfortable and it had everything we needed. Would come back again in a heart beat!
Although a short bit out from the "City Life" of Comox & Courtenay, the lodging accommodations fit the bill for us and our 2 well-behaved Labrador Retreivers. There for three days, the weather didn't cooperate for us at all but we still managed to get out & hike some each day. The biggest surprise was the 1st days drive up to the Alpine Resort on Mt Washington where we were greeted with a foot of snow on November 24. Needless to say, the dogs loved it! Still snowing up there when we left.
The unit has most comfort amenities but isn't ground floor...if you have to haul a lot of stuff. Very good to have access to washer/dryer there. Can imagine it to be a great spot when the weather is warm & dry.
Upon arrival, the house was beautiful! We were very excited to be staying on this property. The heaters were plentiful and the amenities were just as described. We felt slightly like an inconvenience upon arrival. A slight interrogation of personal information (CC number and billing info) was required from us, and so once Sandra left we had a hard time feeling welcomed. The neighborhood is beautiful nevertheless, and if you have a car you are in for a treat! Because there are local wineries and plenty of hiking trails nearby. We were able to get past the information she requested from us and enjoyed making dinner with the amenities. We past out shortly after because of our long trip, but it is definitely worth the stay if you find yourself in the area.
