Here are the essentials for now: I am married to a great guy and travel partner who goes by the nickname of Trey. We have no kids, but we do have three cats, all of which were rescues. We live in a house that was built in 1932. Most days, we don't regret that.
I am in love with travel and I hope that AirBnB will allow us (that is, me and my husband--the cats refuse to carry their own luggage, so they stay home) to stretch our dollars so that we can travel more. I got my first real taste of travel when I was able to study abroad in London for a semester during undergrad. Ever since, I have become increasingly aware of how important going to new places and seeing new things is to me.
My husband is all about colonial American history, and he works for a test development company in their social studies department. I coordinate booths for the trade shows my company attends, which is a pretty cool job, at least to me, but my real love is writing. (Not that this is a good demonstration of that, but you'll just have to trust me.) I love in particular to construct poems, but I also make forays into short fiction. I also read quite a bit, like to take photos, and occasionally produce art, either via drawing or painting or (sadly, almost never) terracotta sculpture. I like to try making new recipes too. However, I am much more interested in the eating part of the process than the cooking part, and I love to try new dishes.
So there's me. Thanks for reading!
