Very nice, spacey apartment, well connected to the center of Paris, definitely worth the flight of stairs! Thanks a lot Vincent!
Great large place, too bad this place for wine lovers does not offer a sample of a bottle or two! :-)
Fabulous kitchen, large for Paris, I personally wonder how Vincent lugged that huge stove & refrigerator up all those stairs..
This place is a bit out of the way (the 20th) but fortunately it is 5 min walk to metro 12, which takes you down to Opera in 20-25 minutes.
Wifi & TV are fast, and sofa and bed are firm & confortable. Bathroom has nice rain shower, and also big.
Basically if you have time to get around, don't mind walking up stairs (no lift) and want alot of space (rare in Paris for this price) this is the one for you.
Vincent was not around but very communicative by text.
Located north of Paris, within 5 minutes from nearest metro which was convenient. Takes 10-15 minutes from Gard Du Nord on the metro as you have to make one change. Bus can be very busy at times so we preferred the metro as walking is a touch too far.
Nice, neat looking apartment. Fully equipped kitchen and a perfect size overall. Was great to have free WiFi! Vincent was not available to meet in person but the communication & instructions were excellent throughout our stay. The only downside was the apartment being on the 6th floor with no lift! A bit strenuous after a long day's site seeing.
Neighborhood is not so pretty in terms of a typical Parisian touch but it does have few fast food places (incl Mcd's!), patisseries & local groceries including Franprix which is great for all needs. I would highly recommend even having to walk up in a spiral of 97 steps!!
We had a very nice and sunny stay in Paris for 4 nights. Our host Vincent is a very nice guy who gave us good informations for our visit and was always reachable when we would have needed it. His apartment was really great, we did really feel at home, because interiour is similar to our own taste, and we did also enjoy the big and good equipped kitchen, the dvd-collection and the big flatscreen-tv. 6th floor without elevator was good sport excercise, and you can reach inner city quite easy - normally by metro, but this was under reconstruction during our visit, so we did take bus every day. Bus is sometimes very crowded, but you can reach Gare de l'Est or Gare du Nord very easily. We highly recommend both apartment and host for a visit in Paris!
a great place to stay. its worth to walk up all the stairs to the 6th floor. altough the flat is not in the centre of paris its the perfect location in the north of paris. well connected to gare du nord, gare de l'est and charles de gaulle aiport.
spacious and bright apartment, top-floor views and a great style.
vincent was very helpful and seems to be a great guy.
would definetely recommend this place and hope to be back soon.
We didn't see Vincent but the communication was very well. The apartment is a very nice place to stay. It's well decorated and clean. It''s on the sixth floor without elevator but it's worth it.
Vincent's place is spacious with nice top-floor views and with great style -- we loved the living room, kitchen, and giant showerhead. He was also great about staying in touch and accommodating our schedule. The location is a little inconvenient -- it's too far to walk to Gare du Nord so you have to take a bus, and the neighborhood isn't so pretty, with only has some fast-food shops. If you're looking for brasseries, boulangeries and classic Haussmann buildings then this might not be for you. But if you want a lovely, well-equipped flat to relax and cook a nice meal in, then you will love Vincent's place!
Great apartment. Very nice, Parisian, romantic. Everything you'd want to relax, listen to music, watch movies, surf the internet, cook, or just enjoy being on the top floor of a Parisian apartment building (in the hot summer for us) watching the world go by in Paris. Particular compliments to the kitchen. If you like to cook properly, there is everything you could possibly need there. Overall we had a great time. The only issue is the appearance of the neighborhood. At first it looks a little dodgy, but it was actually fine - we parked there every day (a few times being late on the parking time without any problems), walked around in the evening, patronized the local boulongeries, grocers etc...
A perfect vacation in this apartment. The apartment is large in Parisian Standards. It has alot of charm and just a beautiful, lots of sunlight place to be! It is a 6 floor walk-up but IT IS WORTH IT! I loved this apartment so much. I will definitely stay here again. Close to the metro and accessible to all of Paris. Do not hesitate to STAY HERE!!
