I live next to the beach at the northern end of Byron Bay. I love nature and spending time with people, especially those who are into personal development and transformation.
My background metaphysics which i studied as a teenager and then yoga - i trained as a yoga teacher in 1977, when i lived for nine years as a swami in the Indian yoga ashram of Swami Satyananda (phone number hidden). Upon my return to Australia I also trained to become a breathworker and my main work now is training breathworkers. The courses are accredited in the Australian Qualification Framework as nationally recognised vocational training. I also conduct retreats one to one and i love this work which produces great results.
I first went to India to be initated into Kriya Yoga 1976 and so i have been practising and teaching yoga and meditation for a long time. I love yoga and breathwork, especially the breathwork capacity to support people in living intentionally instead of just surviving.
The other fun side of my life is my dogs and the dog beach just here which is leash free
I am open to having visitors with well behaved dogs stay here, and those who love to see a dog free on a beach as much as I do. The beach here is as far as the eye can see north and south and no buildings in sight - and mostly deserted. So stay here if you want a quiet break, maybe some yoga or breathwork as extra by negotiation.
Kitchenette facilities here are basic. There is a glass convection oven and an electric fry pan, two hot plates and a small fridge. However - there are 72 restaurants and cafes within a half hour of here - world class some of them. Brisbane is 90 minutes, Gold Coast half an hour - if you want
Its best to come here if you have a car or dont want to leave the beach and room - just sun and surf and rest and reading.
Gold Coast airport pick up maybe available on request for anyone staying for more than one week
