I actually cried when we had to leave this enchanting villa. Patrizia was the perfect host, buying delicious groceries for us, communicating directions, showing us around, welcoming us with tasteful Christmas decorations, a glowing open fire and plenty of comfortable beds. This is idyllic.
We have just had 5 magical days staying at The villa. Patrizia's directions were great especially as it was our first experience of driving in Italy. The villa is not far from Florence and Patrizia gave us some wonderful places to visit complete with maps and information and the right restaurants to find. The home is beautifully decorated and very comfortable we very much appreciated the quality of the interior and loved sitting on the patio drinking wine and relaxing as the sun set over the Tuscan farm land. We would definitely recommend these beautiful home for your stay. Patrizia's welcoming nature made it a very relaxed stay - would like to stay longer as it is so accessible to so many parts of Tuscany .
It was a pleasure having you and your friends as my guest.
You were very easy and I thank you for the appreciation that you had for my property
Thank you for visiting , there is so much more to se and explore
I hope you do come back
Our stay at Le Scalette was fantastic. Patrizia is a lovely host, who went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She had wine, bread and fruit ready on our arrival, and directed us to local restaurants, where we had one of the best meals of our trip. The house was spotless, and decorated beautifully. It is a ways off the road, and in the middle of farm land, yet only minutes away from the town and access to the highway, about a 15 minute drive to Florence. The only downside was that we were not allowed to stay permanently.
