Dear Carla, You never told us about the sink before airbnb contacted us. A clogged sink is what happens now and then and how can we fix the problem if we are not allowed to enter the apartment? Doesn't make sense? All in all the apartment is not a luxury apartment - and you do not pay for a luxury apartment. The price is very fair considering the neighborhood and the market.
We paid you back the cleaning fee because our cleaner didn't do the job well enough. And we already told you that we are sorry and therefor an issue we took care of.
None of the furniture is broken, yes they are old and fit our aesthetics - obviously not yours.
In NYC there is both rats, mice, cockroaches and that is something you should know coming to a big gritty city, especially living downtown. However we don't have mouse in the apartment, that is not true.
I am truly sorry that you must feel like this and I recommend that you stay at a 5 star hotel next time you are in town.
