I study Political Science at the university in Brussels. I live in Schaarbeek, not far from the centre, with my girlfriend and two friends. When I travel, I appreciate some comfort. This means preferably not sleeping with 12 drunken teenagers in one room. I'm interested in literature, languages, technology, music (from The Mars Volta to Robag Wruhme) and cinema. And political economy, of course. I'd like to live elsewhere for some time, but I haven't figured out where that else should be. That's why I travel. Primarily. The other reason is that although Belgium is a great country – it truly is – living there can make you feel a little empty on the inside. It's not boring but it might be a tad too easy.
