I am a 32 year old female therapist working at a mental health clinic in Bushwick, Brooklyn. I am often coming and going. I'm easy going and friendly.

Couldn't have asked for any more! Apartment was just as described. Nice area with public transport close by. Jeni the host was awesome too, really nice and really laid back.
Would live there forever if I didn't have to leave!
Jeni was a wonderful host. The room was spacious and fit four of my family members. My mom and sister were very happy that there was a shared kitchen they could use for breakfast. Jeni was kind enough for letting us to use some of her kitchen stuff and spices. I was hoping to see Owen, the dog, but Jeni had to leave out of town the next morning. I would definitely come again when we visit NY. We had a pleasure staying at Jeni's place.
Staying with Jeni was just what I was hoping for. The room is spacious, clean, and as sunny as advertised. I woke up with the sun each morning, which was positively delightful. Her little Beagle is the cutest thing ever too! The pictures are what you really get, and Jeni was supportive and flexible. I'd definitely come back.
Great in NYC, Jeni's apartment was clean and nice, safe neighborhood, and only 5 minutes from the subway. She was very friendly, I would definitely recommend her place !
Had a great time in Jeni's place :) room was clean, bathroom was clean everything's clean, I recommend it.
Jeni is a gem! I was a longterm roommate with Jeni and I had a wonderful experience. She is incredible neat and tidy (which made me more tidy! Thanks Jeni! :) ) and is in general just a wonderful person. Owen, her puppy, is the sweetest and one of the most well behaved and easy going dogs I have ever met. The room itself is quite lovely. Very airy and light with high ceilings. It was very comfortable. The area was nice with very cheap and delicious fruit and vegetable markets. There are also some very cute and delicious spots (Highly recommend Qathra) on Cortelyou. The subway is quite close and is a direct and easy route into manhattan and other areas. The area represented another more down-to-earth type of new york that is essential to experiencing the city but is often left out when staying in a large hotel. Overall I could not recommend this place enough and when I come to back to New York for visits will be seeing if this place is available first.
This was a great first AirBnB experience for us! The location made it super easy for us to explore Brooklyn, while still being just a half-hour away from Manhattan via metro. The room is just as advertised, very spacious and full of light. Last but certainly not least, Jeni was wonderful. She was a gracious and respectful host and had so many great recommendations for the city. She also had a fantastic attitude and her dog, Owen, was a sweetheart with the floppiest of ears.
Jeni was a fantastic host. Very warm and accomidating. The apartment was clean and easy enough to get to. It's also easy to hop on a bus downtown to access many shops and eateries. Her dog was quite friendly too. She is highly recommended.
Jeni was truly a top-drawer host in every respect. The room and apartment were immaculate. Comfortable bed. I just can't find fault with any portion of this rental. It's a fascinating neighborhood too, an ethnic kaleidoscope. The Sycamore Bar is the greatest! San Remo nearby has excellent pizza by the slice. I lived on lentil soup and mango lassi made by Jorge at the health-food grocery store near the metro station. All this and a beagle to boot. Yea Jeni, yea Owen, and yea Brooklyn!
My stay at Jeni's place was really nice because it was near the subway which made it really easy to travel all over the city. The apartment is quite comfortable and clean. She is very accesible and will support you if you have any doubts or questions during your stay.
I rented a room in Jeni's apartment over the summer of 2011. Jeni is an excellent roommate! She is extremely respectful, very easy going, and really friendly. I felt very at home in her apartment. We had opposite schedules, so I didn't get to spend much time getting to know her, but she is a really good, real person. I was very lucky to fall upon the (website hidden) post! I would happily sublet from Jeni again. Not to mention she has a super sweet, loving little beagle who is just too cute.
Jeni is a good friend. We've traveled together, stayed at airbnb homes together -- she's a fun, respectful, laid back person. During our stay in a home in the Catskills, she and I cleaned the entire kitchen together. She put on some music and made us a couple fun "cleaning cocktails" which made the task fly by. She brings fun and a sense of inventiveness to whatever she does, and I'd definitely recommend her as a host.
Jeni and I have known each other for 10 years. She is an incredible host. Approachable and friendly, while at the same time she has the utmost respect for your privacy. When I was first moving to New York City Jeni put me up for ten days and made sure my stay was comfortable. I recommend Jeni to anyone out there looking for a no-drama situation with a considerate, interesting, and clean host.
Jeni is kind, quiet, respectful and neat. I stayed with her for six months and she is the best roommate I ever had. Sharing living space with her is absolutely effortless because of how incredibly clean and considerate she is. As a friend, she is easygoing, smart and an absolute delight. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
I've both stayed at Jeni's apartment and know her personally. She is the most gracious host you can ever meet and has a really great living space. Owen is a mellow dog (i'm totally not a dog person), and the room is large with lots of light.
I can totally vouch for Jeni, and that she is fun, easy going, and will be a great roommate.
