I am a graduate of Iowa State University, Xavier University (MBA) and Leadership Iowa from Fort Dodge, Iowa. Following college, I took a job with Phi Delta Theta Fraternity in Oxford, Ohio and am now in my tenth year on the Fraternity's staff. I have traveled as a leadership consultant, directed the Fraternity's expansion efforts, led the organization's leadership conferences and membership education, and currently oversee the Fraternity’s communication and digital strategy, member engagement programs and its Iron Phi charity athletics philanthropic initiative.
I live in Ames, Iowa with my beautiful wife Tillie, son Calvin, daughter Tess and rescue dogs Lex & Leena. In my free time I enjoy traveling, reading, personal finance coaching, Iowa State athletics, training for and running in self-created adventure runs, blogging (A Good Run), planning weekend getaways, advising the Iowa State Dance Marathon and Iowa State Chapter of Phi Delta Theta and dreaming about traveling the world full-time.
