This loft is truly the quintessential SoHo experience. The location is nauseatingly ideal. You're on the very best street in soho because you're no more than one block from all the local hot spots, but because you're on a side street you don't have to deal with the crazy noise that some of the other streets have during the day.
The apartment itself is very nice. It's like having a suite at the Crosby Street Hotel for 1/3 of the price.
Cooper is extremely accommodating and very detailed so it's easy to get up to speed.
This house is lovely. If you like to cook I can't imagine a better kitchen to do it in. Good privacy and plenty of space.
Spent a winter weekend here with my wife and 5 other couples and we were all floored at how awesome this house was. The pics don't even do it justice. There is huge kitchen stocked with lots of cookware/appliances so it works well for groups that like to cook. The house is big enough that it never feels cramped, and you can find a bit of privacy if you want to break away. I'd recommend it to any large party looking for a nicer experience than your typical vacation rental.
Lovely weekend away from the city. The house feels warm and cozy. The property is beautiful with nice hiking nearby. Easy Drive from NYC.
M.C. was great at communicating before arrival. Would recommend a weekend here. It was the perfect dose of silence and beauty.
This is always an ideal space to stay when visiting NYC. Cooper is great and makes everything simple. Thanks again Cooper!
We had a great time at the guest house over New Years. The house is immaculate and has wonderful charm. The wood stove in the kitchen was a perfect touch as we cooked and watched the snowfall. Our hosts were extremely responsive and answered all of our questions before we arrived, then we only saw them for a quick wave goodbye before we left. The house is about 20 mins away from grocery stores so it was a good idea that we brought most of our food with us. Overall, a great place to kick back and read and just breathe deeply.
Our group enjoyed a wonderful New Year's celebration weekend at the farmhouse. The house is spacious, comfortable & stylish with a perfect kitchen for those who enjoy food & cooking. All was exactly as described & there were no negative surprises. Even though the farm offers a rugged Winter beauty, it'd be great to try again on some beautiful Spring or Summer days...
My wife & and I had a fantastic two night stay at this amazing getaway. - it was so refreshing to get out of the city for a couple of days. The house is perfect for a couple looking to lounge around a log fire and also explore the grounds where there is a lovely garden and a lake.. Cooper was great host and was very concise with his directions which helped a lot in terms getting around! Can't wait to come back and see this place in the summer! Would also definitely recommend heading to Narrowsburg (which is 30 mins away) for a stroll by the river and lunch at the Heron Inn!
We had a great time staying here. Very nice pad, excellent location--an all around authentic NY experience.
The soho location is ideal, right near Spring & Broadway. Very close to the village and little Italy. The west and east sides of Manhattan are equally accessible via local metro stations.
The place itself is stylish, clean, and has everything we needed for a very comfortable stay.
As busy New Yorkers surrounded by the concrete jungle, Cooper's little cottage was an oasis of calm for my wife and I. We stayed for a few nights over the weekend, which felt like a week in paradise. The house and grounds are beautifully and tastefully decorated and maintained. It is apparent that much care (and budget!) has been put into the interior decor, from the gorgeous bed set to the fine quality rugs through the place.
The cottage is the perfect size for a couple. Though small in square footage, the tall ceiling and abundant windows give it a very grand feel. The small wood burning stove in the kitchen was one of our favorite parts of the trip. We spent hours just sitting quietly next to the warm glow of coals and crackling wood. Though cold outside, that didn't stop us from exploring the grounds, where you feel like you are in a secluded forest to call your own.
I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a picturesque cottage getaway. Be aware that there is no cell service around the property. For us, this was a blessing! There are also two adorable cats that wander the grounds. Thanks Cooper for a great weekend!
I really enjoyed having MC staying at my house. He was very gracious when it turnout out that we had his arrival time confused - we weren't quite finished cleaning and he left for an hour or so so we could have the house ready for him. It was much appreciated.
The house was impeccable after they left - and I really appreciated the truffle oil he left in the kitchen :).
I hope Cooper and Mark come back and stay again.
