Nice location for staying Manarola, great and nice host. We definitely enjoyed staying Franco's place. Wish had wifi tho. Other than that , it was excellent.
The room is exactly the same of the photos. It is super close to the train station. If u are carrying heavy luggage with you, it will be a prefect location for u. You can view the street from the balcony. Shower water is hot and strong enough.
Our room is at the lowest floor facing the street, you will hear noise from vehicle in the very early morning. I guess they are collecting rubbish maybe. If you are sensitive to sound, better request for room facing other side if possible.
Terrific apartment in a magical town.Wonderful veranda to watch the passing crowd.Everything went smoothly and Franco was next store in event we needed anything.Highly recommend a stay at the Painters Room.
We had a great stay in beautiful Manarola. The apartment could not be more conveniently located. We were warmly welcomed and everything was as described--the place was roomy, clean, and comfortable. There were plenty of places to eat nearby and Manarola was a great base from which to explore the rest of Cinque Terre. Thank you to our hosts!
Our room was actually comprised of a living room plus a bedroom and bathroom and balcony -all private. It was beautiful, spacious, clean. Very close to the train station and restaurants and food market. Breakfast was available downstairs on weekend. The owners were very warm and friendly and greeted us with limoncello 's on our arrival. It was our 25th anniversary and we Haida wonderful stay there. The only negatives is it was a bit noisy in the mornings starting around 7:30am with tour groups congregating at the train tunnel entrance and delivery trucks. If you an early riser or not in peak season like we were it won't bother you. It is a lovely , comfortable and very convenient location in Manarola.
Beautiful town, perfect position-very close to train station. Room was clean & spacious. We had a delicious welcome limoncello! Thank you
We loved our stay! The town of Manarola is very charming and quaint, one of the quieter of the 5 towns. The apartment is right at the end of the train station tunnel, so very easy to find. The host Franco was very friendly and welcoming explaining everything to us in Italian, even though we don't speak or understand very little. She's done this before obviously and knows how to get the info across. You also are greeted with a shot of her homemade limoncello which was delicious. Our room was right on the main floor with a cute balcony overlooking the street and train tunnel entrance. Around 5 or 6 am it gets a little loud with delivery trucks, but your on the main road. The room was very spacious and big bathroom, was perfect for our short stay. Also we appreciated that there were beach towels for use; this was our only stop where swimming would be an option and didn't bring our own.
We loved our little home in Manarola. Very authentic . Nice to not have to walk up the hill. Quaint Italian feel to the place. Franco provided us with all our needs and homemade limoncino on our arrival. So good. Only down points were no internet and very noisy well into the night and early in the morning.
we loved our stay! Franco was so nice and welcoming and made us feel at home! we can't wait to come back sometime soon. the room was in a great location, very clean and very large!
