I suddenly find myself doing a lot of travel for work, and hotels are just no fun. I live in San Francisco and I run a coworking space/clubhouse for freelancers called Makeshift Society. I have another space in Williamsburg and will be in NYC a lot, mostly running around town at meetings. I do have friends here so I try to see them when I can, usually at restaurants, and like to keep it quiet when I get back to wherever I'm staying.
I have housesat for friends in New York but travel dates aren't always perfectly in sync so I'm looking forward to more AirBnB time. I am pretty competent at watering plants, bringing in the paper and such. I own my apartment in SF and know how to treat a place with respect.
What else? I used to own a store in Brooklyn and in San Francisco. Customer service and getting people what they need has been my jam for about 8 years now, I guess!
