Just moved back to the US of A, spent the last 5 1/2 yrs in Australia after I married my man Shawn who is a local to Melbourne. Had a fantastic time in Oz and we met many wonderful folks through Airbnb... so we've set sail to Chicago to continue to host people from near and far with a bigger, more sensational version of our home Downunder and start a real B&B in the Windy City.
But until then...
We are spending some time traveling in the USA, creating art, hunting for fabulous vintage finds and adjusting to being back in the states. Also will continue to share our home with the Airbnb community (as soon as I finish unpacking)!! Chicago is one of my favorite cities in the world, especially if you love architecture, food, music, arts and a laidback friendly vibe in large city.
We both feel a need for a sense of community, even within a large city. It's important for us to have people around that can support and help each other, I hope whoever walks through our door, feels that our place is a little like your "home away from home". Is that dorky? Possibly, but I hope it's true.
Well my life motto is: Everyone gets an A! We can't wait to meet you.
