Great communication, flexible about checkin and checkout times. No problems whatsoever. Overall lended to a very enjoyable stay and I felt at home in the flat. Thanks to the hosts! Also the cats were a very lovely addition. I'd recommend this to anyone staying alone or as a couple. Cute neighborhood, good connections to the center.
Staying in a flat turned out to be the best decision we made during our London trip. Having a kitchen, a garden to relax in, ample parking and accessibility to the Picadilly tube line (it goes everywhere you need to go) was really awesome. Plus, the snuggliest cats ever! Aurora and Justin were out of town, but made sure to have a friend down the street who could do all the coordinating and question answering while they were gone. I definitely recommend staying here. It may be 15-20 mins from the center of town, but it was so nice not to deal with the hustle and bustle every second. By the way, if you're thinking Tottenham = riots, don't worry, no sign of any destruction in their part of the neighborhood.
Aurora's and Justin's gorgeous apartment was ideal for us, as we were in town for an event at Ally Pally, a 10-minute bus-ride away. The apartment is a five-minute walk (well, five minutes lugging our gear... probably more like a three-minute walk in reality) from the local train station and bus depot, and a 20-minute train trip into central London. The apartment is their home, so has everything you could possibly need. And the beautiful cats are delightful company!
We had a wonderful time at Aurora and Justin's apartment. It's conveniently located, near a metro station and at a +/- 10 min metro ride to the city center. It's a very nice, clean and quiet apartment with everything at hand for a perfect stay. And Justin and Aurora are the perfect hosts: they are a very pleasant couple and made us feel at home straightaway. And of course, their two lovely cats only increased this homely feeling. If we ever go back to London, we will definitely go back to Aurora and Justin's place.
Remember the Crosby, Stills and Nash hit song of the 70's, "Our House"? No? Well, I am old enough to remember it LOL!.
It fits perfectly this place. Aurora's and her boyfriend's place is a very, very fine house! With two cats in the yard! LOL! :)
I had planned a very romantic trip and the place made it perfect (or purrfect?). First, it is beautifully decorated, it is cozy, it is functional. It is in a nice, growing neighborhood. The Piccadilly line "Turnpike Lane" tube station is nearby, about four hundred meters away or so. There is a nice shopping center just down the road from the tube.
The house has all I needed, all the conveniences. Wi-Fi, all quality appliances, even a bosch dishwasher. It is quiet and comfy for sleeping.... or for having a romantic candlelight dinner with your sweetie, or going out to the yard and enjoying the roses and beautiful plants that make it a great addition to have. The two cats that live there have a small door for entering from the yard side (it can't be opened except by them). No litter boxes in the house, and no cat smell anywhere. These two kittens got me converted from a dog person into a newly minted cat lover!
There is shopping for food (a Tesco very close and a place that is open after hours too). There is a nice place nearby for breakfast or light meal, "Café Teria" and the owner, Mónica is a sweet lady that would prepare a nice jacket potato or a delicious latte for you with a big friendly smile.
Aurora was funny, and witty. She provided all the information I needed before I got in, was very accommodating of my hours of arrival and departure and give me five star service.
I was in this business of renting my apartment, I had mine in Buenos Aires for a while. I know the pictures and reality can be very different... well, not in this case. What you see is what you get. A nice, warm and cozy home away from home. The place is clean and convenient. I recommend it highly!
Aurora was an excellent host. The apartment was clean, centrally located and the cats were nice company.
Aurora's place was amazing ! - exactly as described on the site, very conveniently located - both easy to get to central london, camden, notting hill, abbey road etc but lovely to hang around the area too so we really felt like londoners.
We had four of us in that flat and felt totally comfortable and at home.
Aurora was a lovely host, easy to contact and very helpful, highly recommended !
And, the cats are adorable
Aurora was very nice to rent out to, though we never had the chance to meet her in person! Our apartment was superclean and well taken care of when we got back, we truly recommend aurora and paul as guests!
Aurora was a fantastic guest! She was in contact with me before and during her stay, and she left my apartment as clean as when she arrived! Any host should be happy to host her :)
Aurora is a super gal. There was a problem with her room heat, and it took me a day to secure a backup. Although she could have easily demanded something more, she was simply a decent and understanding person, and in a weird way, I'm glad it happened to her and not someone else that wouldn't open their mind like that. A lovely person. Thank you! Would rent again to her.
Aurora and Justin were wonderful guests! Very nice and left the apartment in great condition.
