Born and raised in the quiet Napa Valley of Northern California, I ventured to the east coast for college and the few years following. After spending a total of seven years in Boston, MA, I made my inevitable return to San Francisco, CA, where I now live with my boyfriend Keegan.
While we spend the majority of our free time indulging in this city's amazing restaurant, bar and music scenes, we take full advantage of the Bay Area's countless outdoor adventures. At the top of our weekend warrior activity list: snowboard trips to Tahoe, wine tasting in Napa and riding bikes through the city to play frisbee or paddleball in the park.
If I had a life motto, it would echo the sentiments of William Saroyan:
"Try to learn to breathe deeply, really to taste food when you eat, and when you sleep, really to sleep. Try as much as possible to be wholly alive, with all your might, and when you laugh, laugh like hell, and when you get angry, get good and angry. Try to be alive. You will be dead soon enough."
