I live in Ukiah CA, a town of about 15,000. Am a young 66 years old-I love to make pottery, swim, take walks, and to cook! I am very neat and organized and have held professional jobs, mostly administrative, all my life. For 28 years I had a business as a vocational rehabilitation counselor-I worked with injured workers and helped them return to work or start businesses. I am currently retired, but do various short term jobs-anything from house cleaning, babysitting, script formatting, resume writing, vocational counseling etc. I also volunteer with hospice. I am very social/active and am gone much of the day. I am leaning towards being vegan, but still in transition. I take ceramic classes at the local college and have a studio in my garage to do work. I am part of a potters' guild and am involved in lots of activities there. I am currently treasurer for that group and for the ceramics club at the college. I enjoy taking classes and swimming at our local health club and like to walk/hike. I have lived here for 32 years and love the community. I can help direct guests to local places of interest (of which there are many). There is a new website for information about Ukiah: (website hidden). I am a grandma (as of April 2012-my daughter lives in Yuma AZ and I visit the family as often as I can. I love my home and am willing to share it-the only thing I ask is that people respect it and not leave it messier than when they arrived. Before someone books, I would request e-mail communication via airbnb.com to see if the calendar works. p.s. I love hosting and find Airbnb a great way to meet new and interesting people!
