From Toronto. Lived and travelled extensively through Asia, Europe, Australia/New Zealand, North and South America. Usually travelling for work, but when I am not working, I like to socialize and do fun stuff.

His house is located in the very heart of downtown Toronto, so easy to travel in the city. Also, he was totally ready for the accommodation when I was arrived. enjoyed my stay here.
1. Right in the heart of Fashion District.
2. Most places are walking distance
(website hidden) let me stay an extra night without prior booking.
(website hidden) has a bed and a futon. The futon is not the most comfortable.
All in all, this is a great place for a short stay in the heart of Toronto.
Nice guy. Helped me last minute. Therefore out was good and at a nice area.
vert nice view from the 9th floor.
The apartment was in downtown Toronto or very closeby. You could bike around town or walk to many wonderful places. I received warm welcome and was suggested many places to go to visit in Toronto. Would stay again.
Ru was very welcoming, and willing to give me informations (for instance about both the check-inand the check-out, the location or the Wi-Fi), even when he was not in the place (he answered me by SMS or e-mail really quickly). The place is truly well located, in the centre of the city, and near bars, restaurants or clubs. It is possible to do a lot only by walking. Therefore the place is quiet and safe. If everyone wants to visit Toronto for a few days, I recommend it.
I booked a stay at Portland rather last minute for a business (website hidden) was accommodating but could have left his place a little cleaner. I checked in very late after a flight in and ended up calling the emergency contact to obtain the apartment keys - this worked out very well actually and his contact was able to get me access and set up with the wireless connection (which for me, is almost as important as water..). Overall, it was a safe downtown apartment with a comfortable bed and pleasant view of the Toronto city skyline.
I haven't seen much of Ru this visit (he is out of town). When he is around he is always gracious and accommodating. His place is clean, very convenient and suits me perfectly.
Ru was very nice and his place is in a splendid location, especially for the City Airport, CN Tower. Rogers Centre, and a lot of restaurants on King and Queen Street. However, I've slept on more comfortable Futons (it was a little bit better with the mattress on top) and I would have expected the bathroom to be a lot cleaner.
Ru is a very gracious host. He is very laid back and helpful. His place is extremely well located and convenient for those who work downtown. The Portland Street area is an incredibly dynamic part of Toronto at the moment. I also enjoyed the park across the street.
