This enchanting flat is situated in a lovely part of Brighton, away from the arcades and only a few minutes the sea and the quirky shops and great cafes of Kemptown. The flat is compact and copy with everything you need to be comfortable and the hostess was very welcoming and helpful. It was ugly weather on the day we were there so it was nice to have somewhere cosy to come back to and toast hot cross buns. Bed was comfy, only wish we'd had longer.
Made to feel really welcome and Marion was the there to greet us. She provided us with some doughnuts which was a nice touch. Fresh bread, milk and ground coffee were also supplied. Marion showed us around the flat and explained how everything worked. The area was fairly quiet and within easy walking distance to the town centre. Nearby Kemp town is a good place for getting a drink or something to eat
Marion left clear instructions for us as she was not there to meet us. We had a great stay in her comfortable, homely flat. The flat was just as I expected it to be and there was coffee and bread available for us when we arrived.
The area is pleasant and quiet, just a stones throw from the sea and has a lovely cafe on the street where we had breakfast. Kemptown is a much quieter area of Brighton than the hustle and bustle of the area around the pier, so was perfect for us.
A wonderful house with great facilities. I was house hunting from Marion's charming abode and it made it difficult for estate agents to match the expectations provided to me by my lodgings in Brighton.
I would love to stay again.

Marion was a fantastic host and I can't recommend her flat enough. Great location, right in the heart of it all yet tucked away enough for a quiet nights sleep. While we were there to explore Brighton, we were always happy to come home at night to such comfortable and relaxed surroundings. Marion made sure we were sorted with everything we needed and were well informed about all things local. Our first Air B n B experience, and if this is the standard to expect, it will always be our go to!
Marion's flat is just as described. Great location, very relaxing vibe, lovely comfy furniture. Made for a very peaceful stay in Brighton (with the exception of the omnipresent Brighton seagulls, which take a bit of getting used to!)
Very well located, close to the sea, shops, restaurants etc.
Marion was very easy to communicate with. We didn't meet her as she was away, but check in was very smooth thanks to her kind downstairs neighbour.
We highly recommend Marion's flat if you want a peaceful stay in a cool part of town.
Marion was a great host who was always available to answer any queries we had. Her place was lovely and clean with plenty of character! She made sure we had nice bread for breakfast and current information about fun stuff to do in Brighton. The house is surrounded by interesting places to eat and drink and is perfect walking distance from the centre. Marion was having some difficulties with her boiler but made sure we had clear instructions of how to override this and still enjoy lovely warm showers. All in all a delightful space to relax and recuperate!
Myself and a friend stayed for 3 nights at Marion's lovely apartment. Marion met us there herself and had obtained the 4 parking permits we needed which was great, we could just leave our van parked outside. She left us lots of great info and was warm and friendly. The apartment is in an excellent location. Great local shops nearby including a beautiful bakery and a fine cheese shop! It was a 10 minute walk into the town centre where we were working and about 15 minutes to the Lanes area. Highly recommended.
We made a last minute bank holiday booking with Marion and were delighted by our experience. She was flexible about arrival and departure times, and although she was unable to meet us herself ensured that her lovely friend was available to let us in and welcome us to the flat. It was a perfect place to stay in Brighton: decorated in a 'boho' style the flat has a great feel with lots of personality, and is clean, fresh, and very comfortable at the same time. It was a real 'home from home' .... in fact we settled in so instantly we felt as if it was really our own home!! The address is minutes from the seafront and beach on an attractive street in a quiet spot just a short walk from central Brighton. I would definitely recommend it.
We had a lovely time at Marion's. The flat is perfectly located for peace and quiet as well as classic Brighton liveliness. Highly recommended!
