Staying with Kasper and his brother in San Francisco was the best experience imaginable. The place itself is great, and the bedroom has a great view of the Bay. Kasper is super friendly and helpful, and has great advice about stuff to do in the city. The neighborhood is very easy to get to from the airport, and is convenient to all sorts of transportation, whether you want to go downtown, to the ocean side, or to adjacent neighborhoods like the Mission, Bernal Heights, or the Castro, or if you need to take the CalTrain south to other parts of the Bay. The neighborhood itself is very quiet and scenic, with a lot of fabulous restaurants, some shops, and grocery stores just steps from the apartment. Kasper was also very accommodating to my longish stay (2 weeks). I would highly recommend staying there to anyone visiting the San Francisco area for work or vacation.
I had an awesome experience at this place. Very friendly, hospitable people, and a sweet dog. Location allows easy access to the freeway 280, and a very short walk to the 22nd st. Caltrain station. Safe, quiet neighborhood. About 30 min. walk to 'downtown'.
Loved the location and the host. Easy going, comfortable place that is well situated for Caltrain, downtown, etc. Great panoramic view from the bedroom.
Kasper hosted me for almost a month in SF and was an absolute sweetheart to have as a room mate, I'll miss our Game of Thrones nights! The apt was always very clean and near lots of public transport routes-very handy for foreigner without a car. Also the stunning views of the bay from my bedroom made any days working from home infinitely easier!
Great stay at kasper's thanks again
This was probably one of my best and most memorable Airbnb experiences I have had.
Kasper, Kaiser and Oggie their dog were all wonderful. If you are looking for a place where you feel right at home this is the place to go. The room was very clean and comfy and public transportation is close as well. I very welcome...almost like family.
Oggie their dog was also super friendly and greeted me daily. I'm definitely planning on staying with this wonderful group of people when i'm back in SF!
Kasper and his family were great hosts. I enjoyed having some poignant conversations with them and enjoyed my time living like a local on Portrero Hill. Their room is beautifully positioned and has a nice bay view. I'd like to head back soon.
This was the second time I extended my stay with Kasper, Eric & Kaisa. These guys are genuinely the sweetest people, they even helped me move into my new house after I left theirs!
Ottie is well cute, and super friendly. These guys go out of their way to make you feel at home. I was spending Christmas away from home & they let me have a dinner party with friends! How's that for hospitality :)
Kasper, Eric & Kaisa are such a great group of people. They have been so kind & hospitable, it truly is a home away from home. I was in the process of relocating to SF, and while I looked for my own place, extended my stay with these guys because I felt so at home.
Kasper is a superb human being! He's well-rounded, supremely friendly, intelligent, and just amazing. When I visited, he showed us around the city, took us to all the best restaurants and cafes, and gave us a tour of Berkley and Oakland. I hope to see Kasper again soon!
Kasper cares about the world and his friends. One Sunday night after a long and dionysian pride weekend, I left the bar without my backpack. An hour later Kasper calls and says he got it from the people cleaning up for the night. It was in good hands. He's one of the few people I will trust with my truck when I travel. When I came back from a 4 month polynesian soul retrieval, he was there to pick me up at the airport with my truck. And he had dinner ready for us back at his house! He tends to listen to Democracy Now turned up a little too high. Just tell him to lower the volume, he won't get offended.
Kasper's a cool dude. Otty's great, too! Nice house with a view in a quiet neighborhood, but very close to all the craziness of the Mission district. Don't overlook the famous Bottom of the Hill, at, you guessed it, the bottom of the hill. I spent a substantial amount of time with Kasper and loved everything about it! Damn, that dog got big!
