It is sad with a disgruntled guest and we apologize once again that we did not know that construction work started in our neighboring building.
We find that Meta has been extremely unreasonably throughout this ordeal and unfortunately we found it very hard to communicate with Meta. During our two years we have had so many happy experiences with our guests and we really enjoy talking to our guests and trying to make them happy and we are sorry to say that this was the first bad experience we have had so far.
We really tried to make the best out of a bad situation. Meta informed us about the construction work in the neighbouring building after 3 days. We then first gave her the opportunity to break the contract, then we gave her a generous discount and finally Airbnb stepped in to give her an additional discount.
We don't mind a bad honest review and we do understand that the construction was a problem. The tenants that have rented our apartment after Meta has not been unhappy with the stay and we also informed them before coming to us about the construction, as we would have to Meta if we had information about the construction.
