Love to read and travel and meet people from other countries. Though I live in the country now am basically a city gal. Love animals and have a dog and 2 cats....
Our host, Jeri, was extremely warm and gracious during our stay in June 2016. We all (3) had comfortable beds, lush bath towels and a yummy and healthy breakfast, with coffee on the deck overlooking the lush surroundings. She was even able to provide a bed last minute one of us who decided to come on our trip! It was a little warm over the weekend, but not uncomfortable with the windows open and airy. Jeri provided directions to help us avoid the road construction taking place in the area. A real help! She was knowledgable of the local restaurants and sites so that nothing was missed. Could now ask for more! Thank you Jeri.
My partner and I had a wonderful time at Jeri's over Memorial Day weekend. Jeri greeted us warmly and offered us a glass of wine.
Our room was beautifully sun-drenched and the bed was very comfortable. Jeri couldn't have been a more welcoming host. She set up a delicious breakfast for us out on the veranda (complete with a basket of warm muffins!).
We will definitely stay with Jeri again!
This was my second stay in Jeri's home. I came for the weekend to visit my son at Bard. Jeri is warm and engaging. Her pets are a happy, friendly bunch who demonstrate affection and respect for one another. My room was comfy and spacious. Breakfast was tasty and just right. I look forward to continuing our conversations by the crackling fire on a winter day or on the porch on a warmer one.
I had a wonderful stay at Jeri's home. The house is room, and has great amenities. I love her furry friends. The room was immaculate, as was the ensuite bath. Jeri is warm and welcoming, and the setting is beautiful--in the woods, but near the town center. I stayed for the NY Sheep and Wool Festival, and there was another guest staying there for the festival as well. We had a wonderful time talking with each other and Jeri, but also lots of private time. I highly recommend this host.
Jeri was a warm and gracious hostess. Her home is lovely, and the room is bright and comfortable. The bed was fitted with the perfect amount of warm linens and soft pillows, and I really appreciated the water bottles left in the room. I also loved the beautiful views from the huge windows that surround the room .
This was my first and Airbnb stay and Jeri was very welcoming and made me feel right at home! I would absolutely recommend staying with her in her beautiful home if you plan to visit the Hudson Valley!!
Our host, Jeri, was extremely gracious and pleasant. I felt very comfortable. The room was great and the house was gorgeous. The listing was perfectly accurate. I would definitely stay there again!
Jerri is a thoughtful, gracious and interesting host, who made our stay at her home a truly memorable one. We instantly loved her sweet pets: Jack the dog and Daisy, a very petite and gentle cat. Our room was spacious, light and airy and offered lovely views of the trees that surround her property. We also enjoyed relaxing on the candlelit porch in the evening before going to bed. Our breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented. We will definitely stay here again if the room is available.
Experience was wonderful. Jeri's place is idyllic and she is an extraordinary person. We stayed while participating in a program at Bard College. Kitchen amenities are limited if you like to cook, but there is bountiful food in the area. We were very comfortable and would be delighted to stay there again.
We spent two nights here . There were other guest staying in the property so it definitely had the feel of a bed and breakfast. We arrived pretty late the first night, Jeri was on hand for a quick greeting and getting us settled in. Her home is quite lovely . The room itself was clean and very cozy with almost ceiling to floor windows and with our own adjoining bathroom we had complete. Favorite spot in Red Hook was Poets Walk ( Jeri's recommendation) . We really liked Main Street in Rhinebeck and found a really cool spot called 'the shelter' a tapas/ wine bar which had live music. Jeri was a great host . It didn't hurt that she spoke French with my French husband. Overall we had a great time and will certainly be back.
