Gregory's spot is beautiful. High ceilings, lots of natural light, plants galore. We had two bedrooms to choose from and the one with the loft bed and futon was so cozy and nice for my boyfriend and I in the middle of winter in Chicago. You do share a common living spaces with Gregory, which we found no issue with since he was so friendly and out of the house most of the time. I love the Pilsen neighborhood and would recommend this airbnb to anybody, especially those traveling with more than two people.
I wouldn't advertise this as "entire home". It's definitely a room in a shared apartment. When I arrived I had to go in for privacy. I don't know why it is allowed to advertise this as entire place. Apartment was too cold. Room was small and the bed was like Arne bed. I am 6ft and feet didn't fit in bed. There r no pictures of the room in listing (when I rented) should have asked for one. And it is south of downtown. U will need to take 2 buses at least 20 min to get to the loop.
Sorry if I am being to harsh but it wasn't like he tried to make my stay comfortable or anything. I don't recommend this.
Greg has a lovely and homely apartment! We stayed in the room with the loft bed (there are two free bedrooms to choose from) and the bed was super comfy and the room was nice and warm. Greg is a friendly and enthusiastic host who will make you feel right at home. Make sure you try his board game Knock Down Barns during your stay!
Had a fantastic time in Chicago, Gregory couldn't have been a better host, made the experience wonderful. The place is wonderful and very well situated, not far from the city, and places to get food for all meals were also very close. Would definitely recommend staying here!
Greg was a very nice host! He was very helpful and made us feel comfortable in his flat. The place was spacious and atypical and corresponded to the pictures. Pilsen is a very nice neighborhood and Greg's place is not far from public transportation (bus and subway).
Greg was SUPER helpful before and during my stay. Room was cozy, warm (important for Chicago in December), and quiet. Thank you Greg!
Great experience with Greg. He is a very laid back, cool guy. He makes you feel comfortable and helps you out with whatever you need. The neighborhood is nice, there are good options of bars to go. As far as transportation we mostly used uber which was convenient and also the bus line which was 2 blocks away. I strongly recommend staying in Greg's house.
Thanks to Greg, we really enjoyed our Chicago trip! He was a kind and nice host. And Puck was a lovely dog:) The place was also awesome. You can easily find the bus stop, subway and good places to eat out.
I had a really time at Greg's house, he is really nice host and I felt really welcome and I also felt like I was at home
We had a fantastic time at Greg's place! His house is spacious, bright, clean, and super cool. There were 5 of us and we never felt cramped at all (there are plenty of beds). There were fresh sheets ready for us and Greg was totally easygoing and accommodating. I feel like we would be friends outside of airbnb. Puck is a gentle beauty. And definitely ask about Knock Down Barns!!! Super fun! Will definitely be hitting Greg up again if I stay in Chicago. Thanks Greg!
