Originally from Ontario, I moved to the west coast for love a year ago. Our dog, Sam, and I were happy to be reunited with my partner, Aaron, and have never looked back. I am a high school French teacher and Aaron is finishing graduate school in Chemistry.
We've become running fanatics over the past year and have come to understand that if you don't run in the rain, you don't run in Vancouver. When we travel, we often like to explore by lacing up our shoes and taking in the city on our morning training routes.
While we have great aspirations for travel, right now our attention is focused on the west coast. We know that we may not live in Vancouver forever so we want to see what we can while we're here. Top of our list state-side is California and Oregon, and to the north, Whistler and Victoria. While we travel we like to immerse ourselves in the local culture and what better way to do that than to stay in a B&B and meet local hosts?
We do like to bring, Sam, our golden retriever cross with us when we travel. He's friendly, very happy, and adapts well to new people and places. He's great with other dogs and loves to say hello.
