We are friendly people, and we love nature. Early morning surfing in Maui is the best, we go paddle surf almost everyday.
Great location in Pa'ia, and (email hidden). My friends and I really enjoyed our stay.
We loved staying here. We walked down the sidewalk to Paia daily peeking at the ocean on the way then eating at one of the many great restaurants or shopping at Mana Foods--an awesome store. In the morning we'd take our coffee out back and sit and sip while we peeked at the ocean some more, listened to birds and admired the sugarcane plantation the abuts the garden. There were tons of beach towels, a washer and dryer ($2 in quarters each), a well equipped kitchen with coffee filters and corkscrews, beach umbrellas, snorkeling equipment, a cooler and more.
Dean & Rosangela are great hosts. We hope to come again soon.
Dean and Rosangela are very nice hosts. Very clean and well equipped. A short footway to Paiatown. The perfect place to stay. We had a wonderful time and think to come back next year. Mahalo
What a great house! We loved the thoughtful touches like Hawaiian islands in the cement countertops, and direct TV so we could keep up with the Olympics! The home is on a busy street but you can hardly tell from inside the home. There is an incredible view of sugarcane fields from the back bedroom. We took full advantage of walking downtown; an easy walk from the house. There are plenty of boutiques, restaurants, and beach access in downtown Pa'ia all within a short walk. Accessing other parts of the island is easy, too! The home was clean, spacious, and all around great location! Cannot wait to come back!
Pros: secluded, private, quiet, fully furnished, convenient to Paia and several activities (Road to Hana/Haleakala Crater/hali'imaile pineapple farm)
Cons: there were a few pests (ants/centipedes/caterpillars/spiders) that my gf couldn't handle, but please understand that the back yard is facing a sugar cane field and you're going to experience a bit of nature.
Above all, Dean & Rosangela were very friendly hosts and know how to make you feel at home. They made suggestions on activities, and we even went surfing with them. Very very cool. Looking forward to the next time I can make it to Maui and stay with Dean.
Dean and Rosangela were really kind and helpful. This (email hidden) to stay in Paia. Close to central Paia yet private and quiet. We really enjoyed the lanai and deck in the backyard. We didn't want to leave.

Excellent place to stay in Paia. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Great location within walking distance of the town.
Dean and Rosangela were extremely welcoming and helpful. I would happily stay again.
Cute apartment in a great location--walking distance to everything in town & Baldwin beach. The lanai was also great, with beautiful grass, and surprisingly quiet! It felt very secluded & private, even though it's so close to town. We would definitely stay again. Dean was very friendly & gave us tips for Paia. Thanks so much!

You couldn't want for more friendly hosts looking after your vacation requirements. Dean is a master craftsman and every project he has designed, built or renovated is first class. Being locals on Maui, Dean & Roseangela will be able to answer your questions and recommend the best places to see during your stay. I have worked and played with Dean and he is a perfectionist and true professional in every aspect.
Dean and Rosie are great hosts! They will go out of there way to make sure you are comfortable and happy. They know the meaning of the word "PONO"
in Hawaiian means to do the right thing. They are stand up people and stand up paddlers also. : ) Stay with Dean and Rosie and you will have a vacation full of Aloha!
