I've been using Airbnb for the last couple of years to rent out my NY apartment to hundreds of folks visiting the "Big Apple" from around the world. I've hosted people from about 20 US states and over 40 countries and had an incredible time doing so.
I've since moved out of the apartment and am spending most of 2014 on the road.
I've done some traveling over the last decade, but when I was home, my days were focused on my petcare business, yoga practice, and on my main interest: science and engineering.
I've visited Argentina, China, India, Brazil, Dominican Republic, and lived in Guyana. In the US, I've visited Chicago, Miami, New Orleans, Houston, San Diego, LA, Las Vegas, Seattle, San Francisco, Washington DC, Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, Minnesota, the Dakotas, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and lived in Boston.
The apartment I rented to guests in New York was basic, comfortable, quiet, clean, affordable and convenient. I aspired to be a reliable, friendly, and professional host to all I shared my home with. I’m looking for similar accommodation in your city, and any potential host can expect me to be friendly, clean, reliable, quiet and organized. Thank you for considering me, and I am happy to answer any questions.
