A few things to know about me :
The five most important things to me : the light (that's why I fell in love with Marseille & Ethiopia),
the trees, my friends, art (to which I'm very sensitive) and the journeys.
So, my home is a good summary of all this : when my friends come home, they say to me that it's like a museum, that my apartment looks like me, and it's a real pleasure for me.
I like leaving but I like coming back too. Home sweet home !!
I like learning new things through books, movies, exhibitions, theater, museums (The Fondation Guggenheim at Bilbao, Spain, what an amazing museum!!) and by travelling or learning a new language, everything is connected.
What matters to me it's to feel and to understand.
As traveler : I really don't like the package tour, I'm spontaneous ... What I want is to spend my time discovering a place, by walking and getting lost. But, I also like stopping for a while to look what takes place around me and watching people living.
As host, my pleasure is to show Marseille because it's a city which has a bad reputation and I like proving the opposite. It's an original town, which has her own character. It is an alive and cosmopolitan city.
By the way, I travelled a little : everything began with Venezuela (where I stayed 8 months), that gave me the taste of the trips.
But I knew my strongest feelings with Africa and New York. And my last two journeys were in China because I'm fascinated by the civilization and the culture of this country, That's why I'm learning Chinese. ButI know these two times are not enough to absorb this country.
Moreover, one of my favorite movies is "In the mood for love" by Wong Kar Wai, but also "The Passenger" (aka "Profession : Reporter") by Michelangelo Antionioni and "Little Odessa" by James Gray (by the way, I like all his movies)
I'm interested in too many things and it would be too long to detail them here.
I'm enjoyed at details which the life offer us every day.
And I always saying "Hello" to the dogs on the street :)
