A really welcoming and friendly host! The room was exactly what we needed and we had a great nights sleep! I would really recommend for anyone looking to stay close to the centre of Edinburgh :)
We had a great experience with Javed! His wife greeted us and she was very kind. The room and bathroom are perfect and we had breakfast too! Will definitely stay with them next time we are in Edinburgh!
Very nice room and place to stay. Ended up getting the flu while staying here so had to return to friends place in Glasgow and leave early.
Javed was there to welcome me with a cup of tea, then showed me round the house. He was very kind and helpful.
Javed was incredibly friendly and the room was immaculate. Highly enjoyed our time in Edinburgh!
Lovely, comfortable, quiet room. Very friendly, polite, kind hosts. Javed even helped me out when I couldn't find the house. Breakfast was included - cereals or toast and a hot drink. Easy access to Edinburgh centre by bus. Highly recommended!
We had an enjoyable 2 day stay at Javed's house. Handily located to a bus route straight into the city, transport was not a problem. We had the downstairs room, small but comfortable, with en suite. Javed made us very welcome, and we had the use of a lounge if necessary.
The room was as promised, clean and comfortable. Javed was very hospitable and accommodating. We enjoyed trying to solve the world's problems over breakfast. Getting to downtown was very easy, as described, by bus.
My boyfriend and I slept two nights at Javed's, who was very welcoming and his wife as well. Everything was clean and nice and comfy (and there is a big bathroom), I'd say it's perfect for a short stay to enjoy Edinburgh.
Javed's house is a perfect place to stay in Edinburgh. I went in August when the Fringe festival was happening. It was easy to get to the Royal Mile by bus and the whole old town! The house is in a residential area close to a Shopping Centre - 5 min walking or less. I stayed in a small single room and yet, very comfortable, looking exactly how you see in the pictures, suitable for all needs of one traveller. I must say that Javed is very welcoming we had a long chat on my arrival having a tea. His wife is also very kind and both of them were there for a small talk. If you go to Edinburgh, that's definitely my recommendation!
