Helen is very friendly and helpful, she leaves a cabinet full of goodies in the caravan for me and she even granted request of late checkout until 8pm as she has no booking for the next day!
Location is just 15 min train from Lime Street, followed by a 10min walk thru a safe and quiet neighborhood. I also found out the all day travel pass o purchase includes a ferry ride across the Mersey!
Over all, my stay at the caravan had been CPU - Cheap, Private and Unique. Thanks Helen again, I will definitely recommend you to my friends visiting Liverpool.
Helen was such a sweet host. In advance she reached out to check our preferences for drinks and sandwiches. When we arrived she toured us through the shared spaces of the home and helped us settle into our cozy caravan - going out of her way by providing a fridge/cupboard full of goodies and two plates of sandwiches as she knew we had been on the road all day! The space was private, clean and comfortable; we even had one of the best sleeps we've had in weeks!
Cosy Caravan is just what it is. Nice little space. Very near the city rail line.
Helen was an amazing host and a very generous person. She provided me and my partner everything we needed. Helen even ironed my shirts. I would definitely recommend the caravan as it was extremely cosy and helen's hospitality was world class.
Helen was kind and communicative. As it were we didn't actually end up staying as a local friend insisted we stay with him. Next time we hope to stop by!
Helen was a most gracious host. The caravan was small, but perfect for my needs. I unfortunately took ill while in the Liverpool area (there was a stomach virus going around and I caught it), but Helen provided me with some basic food supplies and even offered some medicine, but I had my own. I hope to return to the area in the future so I can finish seeing what I missed this time around. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality, Helen, and I did manage to take the "Ferry cross the Mersey" before returning to London!! Cheers.
Response from Helen:
Glad you made your trip down the Mersey.maybe if you ever come back you will not get a stomche bug.Glad you recovered .
Helen is a wonderful host and made my stay as comfortable as possible. The caravan and the house are impeccably clean. Unfortunatelly the toilet pump in the caravan didn´t work and couldn´t get fixed but Helen offered to use the bathroom in the house.
It's funny and original to stay there. You have access to the house for the accommodations. I really enjoyed here, Helen is easy going and a good host.
Helen is a fantastic host. She is kind, caring and a really fun person to be around. I really felt as though I was spending a week at a friend's house.
The caravan is exactly as described! Cosy, clean and has everything you'll need.I slept so well - the caravan is nice and warm and the bed is comfy too. When I go back to the Wirral, I won't think twice about where to stay!
The neighbourhood is fine and I had no problem parking close by.
I would recommend it to anyone hoping to stay somewhere nice with a lovely host.
Thank you, Helen!
The place was pretty much as advertised. Helen's hospitality was very nice. The place is fairly convenient to transport and getting to Liverpool was quite easy. If you like fish and chips the local take away place is great They gave me so much food that I could make 3 meals out of one of their servings. I was looking for temporary lodging to tide me over until I found a permanent place on the Wirral..
