I really can't say enough nice things about this place! Jev was such a lovely host - he was very welcoming and helpful. The place was beautiful - a good location (near the train station), clean, and well-equipped (plenty of towels, kitchen utensil, etc). Thanks so much for a great trip :)
With hosts like Jev, one could become spoiled! My husband and I arrived to a delicious baguette, a bottle of wine, and chocolates, in a very clean, warm and cozy (we were visiting in brisk and cloudy November) apartment. What folks say about the stairs (their steepness) is certainly true, but there are sturdy handrails and I loved the well-designed, bohemian-chic feel of this home. Oh, and Jev included a stereo and collection of CDs. It was great to begin the day with upbeat classics and end the night with the bluesy Nina Simone, among others. Thanks again, Jev!
The apartment is in a great location and the facilities were really excellent. It's a beautiful part of town and the flat has everything you could want. It's very small and the stairs (to the bedroom) are steep, but we liked that. It felt like living somewhere very small and cosy and like a little nest in the middle of town. Highly recommended.
Jev is an exemplary host! He is extremely forthcoming and welcoming. And the studio is a stunning and perfectly equipped place. I definitely plan to take advantage of this offer again.
A fun space in a great location! We found the apartment clean, comfortable, and well provisioned. Jev was a wonderful host - he accommodated us at the last minute, left a lovely welcome gift, and was flexible in allowing us to check out a little late.
I spent a fantastic weekend with a friend here in Monmartre. Jev was a great host, he was very understanding when I had to move my arrival time and was happy to give us directions to and from the airport and advice on local restaurants. The flat itself is cosy and perfect for two. It is located right by the Lamarck metro stop which will take you directly to the area of Musee d'Orsay by the Seine. Closer to home, you can't beat Monmartre with Sacra Coeur about a 15 min walk away. Over all I had a great experience and I absolutely recommend this flat!
Jev's studio was the perfect place for us to rest our tired heads after exploring all that Paris has to offer!
The place itself has a very artsy/boho feel to it that we found quite charming. It was clean, well-located, and suited our purposes just fine (safe place to relax and unwind after exploring). Jev lives right next door, as well - very convenient.
The flat is perfectly set up for a short stay (no clothes or dish-washer, hot-plate only etc.) and is best-suited for a young single/couple. If you're squeamish about heights, or have mobility issues, you might find the narrow and steep staircase and the lofted (almost completely open-sided) bed a challenge - be warned. We did not mind at all, though... kind of a cool feature, actually!
Location was key - just a few steps to the subway which will get you anywhere in the city fairly quickly. A short and picturesque stroll to Sacre Coeur (5-10 mins depending on your pace), in between cafes, restaurants, and shops, and up a few staircases (wear comfy shoes!)
*try La Jolie Boheme restaurant at the top of the street, just before staircase - good for a chocolate crepe and a nightcap! My fave is the fruit-flavoured "Kir" (white wine) ... and I don't care if drinking them is passé! Peach is particularly delish, and they're very affordable, in comparison.
*we didn't venture too much after dark, but were warned to stay North of the apartment if we did (towards staircases) not South (towards Moulin Rouge, I believe) as the area gets a bit sketchy.
Jev himself was the perfect host... such a nice guy! He was super accommodating, especially given that, due to a last-minute cancellation by another host, we booked with Jev only 2 days prior to our arrival in Paris. He was friendly and prompt with all communication, and was helpful in making sure we could find our way to his flat with ease. He arranged everything from hair dryers to flexible check-in/out times to taxi cabs for us, all with a smile on his face. Jev also had a lovely assortment of fresh fruit and beverages (including some French wine) to welcome us into his home - nice touch.
Jev and his flat are definitely recommended for a fun trip to Paris. Merci beaucoup, Jev! A bientot :) - Molly and Ryan
We had a really nice time staying at Jev's place. He made us feel very welcome with a pile of lovely welcome treats and some helpful tips for the area. Jev also checked in with us during our stay and he was available to help in any way.
We go to Paris alot and like to stay in different places and areas. This little chalet was a nice change for us. It was decorated nicely, and had everything we needed. We both noted how quiet it was, which is hard to find in Paris. Overall it was very nice and peaceful.
One thing to note are the stairs in the chalet to get to the bedroom are quiet steep so it may not be idea for older people.
The area is very nice. There is a nice Cafe on the corner to get breakfast or have an afternoon drink. There are many nice restaurants in the area and lots of steps leading up to and around the famous Montmartre. The area had a nice residential village feel. Jev's place is also 2 mins walk to the metro stop.
They were very nice guests, silent and reserved but we didn't have enough time together to met each other well.
They asked me to stay at late hour but they also understood why the cleaning couldn't be done in time for their arrival ( even a welcome coffee! ) and were compreensive in face of our effort to accommodate them .
So, I hope that maybe they coul'd be back here once again so I will be able to welcome them in a better way!
Communication with Jeverson was very easy from the start, he was very respectful, kind and polite. I really liked having him and his friend Rom at the apartment, they left everything clean and organized. Excellent tenants, I hope they came back.
Well, Jev was the best first airbnb experience to me and my sisters. Totally polite and trustful. We could receive him at 1am again hehe
Jev and Roman were wonderful guests: polite, considering, and fun. There are welcome back any time!
Jeverson along with his traveling companion were fantastic! Very punctual and available after they leave the house was probably cleaner than when they arrived ... No, I joke, but really were the perfect hosts ... Thanks guys, hope to have you with us still in Rome ...
It was very nice to have Jeverson in Lisbon. Very kind person.
Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to see Jeverson as they were in Venice in august when most people is on holidays, as I was. So, another person met him. He thought that the apartment belongs to the church, but it's not so. It's name is Alleluia as it is very close to the church! Jeverson was complaining about some things, which I think are not real, as for example the super mini fridge - it is a surprise for the guests, in the web site is not even mentioned the fridge. This small fridge is, first of all a CD player, not a serious fridge. The AC is new and works properly when the peole know how to use it. And, at last, Venice city has much less mosquitos then the other cities in Veneto.
Very nice gusts, no problems at all.
jeverson is a great guest with a great smile. appreciating things ... and leaving the nicest bouquet of white gladiolas i ever got. thanks :)
