Liz's house was perfect. Nestled amidst boulders, you feel like you're away from everyone, even though you're right in town and have neighbors next to you. Liz welcomed me into the house and gave me a tour. Everything was just as she had described it and was a perfect bungalow for my wife and me. We felt rested and refreshed when we left four days later. I would definitley stay there again.
We loved our last stay in Liz's home so much that we decided to come back again. It was just as cozy and relaxing as the last trip, and this time we even got to meet Liz in person! She was cheerful, attentive and welcoming, and has created a space with a lot of wonderful details to make you feel at home. We tried looking at other Prescott lodging options, but ultimately were drawn back to Liz's place by the fireplace, sound system, the privacy and the ease of getting to other destinations.
My husband and I were looking for a peaceful retreat from Phoenix and this was a perfect fit.
From the beginning, Liz was an amazing host. She used email, text, and phone to communicate about check in and check out times, and even to let us know our first day there about a jack for our devices to hook up to a stereo that was pushed under a table when she cleaned.
The house was quiet, clean, and cozy, with lots of natural light, a gas fireplace, (perfect for December!) and nice touches like a tea drawer and organic shower items. It was only about a ten minute drive to downtown Prescott to good eats, coffee shops, antique stores, and bars, but close to hiking adventures too. Check out Ian Russell Gallery, The Point Cocktails, and The Raven Coffee Shop.
We're definitely planning to visit again! Thanks, Liz, for everything.
What an amazing experience! It was my first time using this website, and Liz was so nice and helpful. She met me at her place and walked us through the house, and showed us how to use everything in her home. She even helped us find some good places to hike. Her home was amazing, very comfortable, cozy and close to everything. I would definitely recommend staying there if you are looking for a great spot in Prescott.
Liz's home is a soothing retreat both inside and out. such a treasure close to everything in Prescott and it includes spectacular windows facing east to enjoy the sunrise with a cup of coffee. All house information was clearly spelled out and easy to follow. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and communication with Liz was clear prior to arriving.
My partner and I were visiting family in Prescott but wanted the privacy of our own place over staying at Grandma's house and Liz' little cottage was the perfect fit. Located in the Mile High neighborhood, it was just minutes from whiskey row and grandma's house. Nestled amongst the boulders at the end of quiet secluded street in a wooded area, the location provided great view of the starry night sky. Only thing I might point out is curtains in place of a bathroom door could be awkward for some people. Wonderful stay.
Our stay was amazing, the home was clean, well taken care of and had amazing views. It was a dream spending our days out and then coming home to relax is this beautiful home.
I had a lovely stay at Liz's serene and beautiful home. Liz was warm and kind and a pleasure to meet. I feel restored from my stay, watching hummingbirds in the morning and plucking fresh herbs for my breakfast, ahhhhhhh. Thank you!
clean cute place. Nice person
Liz was very welcoming and thorough, and left us a typed list of information including how we could reach her if we had issues or questions. We enjoyed this quiet, private retreat, especially the back deck which is literally built into the boulders and pines. Great place to sit with morning coffee and enjoy the view. Plenty of space to do some yoga in the house too! We felt safe in the neighborhood, exploring on foot to get a feel for the area. And it was just a short drive to some really great hiking areas in the Prescott National Forest. Easy access to the historic downtown area too. We have been coming to Prescott for many years and always manage to discover at least one great place we've never seen before........we were happy to discover this!
Liz is wonderfully warm, happy person and she was a great guest! Quiet, clean, respectful and very friendly! No problems at all and i would be happy to have her back. Highly recommend!
Liz and her family were lovely guests. They were able to attend baseball Spring Training games as they'd planned, and found other attractions to explore as well......and were kind enough to leave many brochures for my future guests....thank you! I felt my home was in good hands while they were here.
Liz was a wonderful guest. She's friendly and outgoing and left the place immaculate. Would love to host her again any time.
