I am a mum of 2.I love travelling, visiting places of interest.I occasionally play golf and am heavily involved in my kids school activities.
Great place to stay, especially if you are already familiar with the area because it's convenient to get to different parts of town from Tariro's house. Accommodations are clean, quiet and comfortable. I recommend having a cell phone, in order to communicate with Tariro and her staff about your comings and goings. Safe neighborhood, I went running in the mornings while I was there.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time staying at Tariro & Khu's lovely home. They could not have been more welcoming and friendly, providing a peaceful, spacious 'safe haven' close to the Sam Levy shopping village, while we explored Harare and surrounding areas. Highly recommend!
I stayed for 10 days and the family is very humble and kind. The room is generously big and spotless. Its a quiet neighbourhood close to Harare City Centre and Sam Levy Village.
I stayed two nights in July of 2013 with Tariro and her lovely family and could not be happier. The separate room and bathroom were spacious and spotless, the neighborhood charming and safe and the location is very close to the town center. I will never look for another place when in Harare.
Tariro was a wonderful host, always available to answer any questions we had, whether about sight-seeing, transportation plans, or help getting our cell phone to charge! The room was very comfortable, and the location was a very pleasant hour's walk from the center of Harare, which we enjoyed each day. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience!
A very warm and lovely place to stay. I really enjoyed my stay here. The security is very good which adds to peace of mind whether at home or away. The host family is very welcoming and they make you feel very much at home. The experience was much better from what I expected. Thank you.
Really lovely family - Super-friendly, welcoming and very helpful.
Room and bathroom very nice.
The only minus point is that the property is somewhat remote without motorised transport.
Beyond fabulous experience. Charming and comfortable bedroom with an oversized bathrooth. Warm and inviting hosts who graciously helped me though my first week in Harare -- answering questions, offering advice, making sure I was safe. I came with my children and they were so well received that they did not want to leave -- ever!! No words for the hospitality we encountered...
