Hi Crashpadders and welcome to our beautiful mediaeval Dartmoor village at the foot of the moors, where you will find hidden tracks, waterfalls, bubbling bouldered rivers,purple-heathered moors and rugged stone tors all within easy cycling/walking distance from the public footpath at our front gate. The bustling old stone village has all daily amenities including deli, music pubs,mini-mart,shops and health services a stone's throw away. Our lovely Victorian terraced house is not posh, but warm, comfy, bright and characterful and has pretty flower gardens all around and wisteria and roses round the door! Yes, really! Perfect cycling cycling country, with off-road tracks and little pack-horse bridges galore.
Also within easy reach is the unspoilt National Trust Coast path with it's idyllic beaches, and also exciting English Riviera towns of Torquay, Paignton and quieter Kingsbridge.
As you can see, hobbies include walking, wildlife watching, folk music and archaeology!
Two single rooms available, morning coffee and fresh baked croissants possible. Plenty of cheap evening grub at pub or fish n chip shop down road. Rural edge-of-village location.
Will upload more pics soon.
