I've been living in the Boston area for 11 years, and am married and have a cute grey and white rabbit.
I am Founder & CTO of (website hidden), an online tool that helps people understand and reduce the energy and water usage in their homes and buildings. Working on the web is a lot of fun, and I'm happy to be doing it. My interests are very diverse, and I wouldn't be surprised to be doing something completely different in five years time.
I am also vegan, and am always excited to find a good restaurant with food I can actually eat :)
I enjoy many things -- i could write out the standard list of things like travel, movies, etc. -- but most of all I enjoy anything that engages my mind. Experiences that allow a deeper understanding of the world, spiritual understanding, discussions that provoke thought or trigger new strains of thought, etc.
As for travel, I much prefer a backpack to a valet. I've never been a fan of hotels, no matter how nice -- I'd take a guest house in Kathmandu over a 5-star hotel in New York any day of the week. I like to experience a place rather than just look at it. I don't make lists of things I have to do when I go to a place, and don't structure my travel too much; I believe there is something to appreciate and learn from just about any experience, and sometimes the unexpected brings delights that no amount of planning could have foreseen.
I'm a very strong believer that all happiness is in the mind. If you enjoy an experience, you win. If you get frustrated by something, it's an opportunity to observe, examine, and learn from your own mind, and in doing so you win.
