I am a 32 year old filmmaker/writer from Dallas/Ft.Worth TX.

5 things I can't live without.. hmm...

1.) My family. I have a beautiful wife and a 5 1/2 month old little girl. Close to both sets of our parents and enjoy spending time with extended family.

2.) Adventure. I'm more out of shape than I used to be, but I enjoy going hiking, surfing, snowboarding/skiing, parasailing, skydiving, flying etc. My job fortunately provides numerous adventurous items that I've been blessed to be able to do, however, I always enjoy more :)

3.) Good food. I guess you could say I'm a "part-time foodie", although I don't have the dedicated "eat good everyday" habits included in the full time title.

4.) Comedy. Laughter is the cure for all that ails you. Laugh with me, and we will be good friends. It's even okay to laugh AT me. I do dumb things sometimes.

5.) Friendship. It's been said I never meet a stranger. It's true. Hang with me for a bit and you'll get it.

My favorite destinations that I've been to/lived in are Hawaii, Germany, SoCal (added very recently) Florida, and Colorado. I've traveled all over, but those are some of my favorites.

I'm a good guest I think... although I've only used this once for a lodging. I'm ex military, and have always been taught to leave the place nicer, and cleaner than when you left it. I like to chip in and help, and enjoy getting to know my host. So if you host me, be prepared to have me even maybe point a camera at you and get a quick little snippet for my travel stories!

The standard "Carpe diem" is overused, although I like it. However, what I always tell people is that life is what you make out of it. It can be either good, or bad. It's up to you.
