From the moment you walk in it is easy to feel at home here. The atmosphere is laid back, the hosts are welcoming and always willing to help. Everyone is incredibly friendly, and you will receive wonderful tips for your trip. This is a great place to hang, you'll meet awesome people and won't want to leave!
Fantastisk hostel!
Ka'beh set a high bar for my first hostel experience. Daily cleaning, social events every night, and a friendly and helpful staff made it a great stay. The party atmosphere may not be for everyone, but it's a good location and a good place to meet people.
They welcome me very friendly and i spent a funny night with some crazy atralien guys in the nightlife of cancun:)! It was well organized and david is a friendly guy! Thanks for the host!
Super hôtes, très convivial et sympathique, on se sent en sécurité sur tous les plans, j'y retourne à la fin de mon voyage sans hésiter ! Proche de la station de bus ADO qui va vers l'aéroport et les autres villes, vraiment parfait :)
I enjoyed every thing about my stay here. The location is very convenient to get a cultural experience in Cancun. Any bus service is nearby, and taxis run in the area as well. There are lots of eateries, parks, and stores nearby. The house itself is EXACTLY as described. The breakfast was amazing (I am a fine chef, LoL). I was uber exhausted and missed the Thursday night Pot Luck, but I heard it was great. I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend this hostel to anyone in a heartbeat.
David is a great host. The hostel is very clean, there is always lots going on there is a very good vibe. Nice location near to the ADO bus stop too.
My stay at Ka'beh was great. The staff was friendly and very helpful with their tips on navigation and things to do. I thoroughly enjoyed the hammocks, hostel pets and AC at night. Plus the crowd that passed through the place seemed to all have a great vibe about them. I would recommend staying at this hostel wholeheartedly.
David is multilingual and welcoming. He was very helpful in scheduling tours right from the hostel and addressing any other concerns. He even rented GoPros for our whaleshark tour, which was totally worth it even though I threw up about 8 times from seasickness!
The hostel is in a pretty ideal location, close to the bus station, taxis, and bus routes. Also it is very close to cheap local food and markets/entertainment.
The hostel itself, you get what you pay for, but it is a good deal. Nothing fancy but has everything you need. Warning, it can be very hot and muggy in Cancun, so be prepared.
I had such a good experience staying at Hostel Ka'beh!
Location wise it's great! A brisk walk from the bus station that takes you back and forth from the airport. Pretty much next door to the public square with a lot of activity every night! 30 minutes and a mere 10 Pesos can get you to the beach. And a very large department store no more than 5 blocks away where you can do all your grocery shopping.
The staff at Hostel Ka'beh is helpful, clued-up on excursions, good deals and anything that might add value to your trip. They also keep great company!
What I loved most about the place... The fact you get breakfast, the hammocks, the air-conditioned room at night, free wifi, all the parties and things happening at night (there was something happening literally every night at the hostel! Don't know how the staff keeps it up, impressed) and the best bathroom in Cancun!
I travelled on my own and they made me feel very much at home, I have stayed at a couple of places where it isn't always the case, so it is saying a lot!
I have known David for about 9 years now. He is a hard-working, honest, personable, helpful individual. He enjoys working with people and and is quite knowledgeable about the Yucatan where his hostel is located.
