Jane is a great host with a beautiful, cozy place.
She recommended awesome place in New Hamshire to visits, in our one night staying in her place we felt wonderful.
Jane's mother, Anne, was a wonderful host. She gave us great suggestions for food and adventuring in the White Mountains. She even made breakfast for us in the morning. The Hazel room we stayed in was lovely; it was neat & clean, and had a lot of charm.
We came to New Hampshire looking for the chance to recharge our batteries and Jane's Mum, Anne, did everything within her power to make that happen. An incredible woman, lovely to talk to, who showcases the very definition of good hospitality (and knows how to cook bacon!). The house was in a great location - easy to get to the mountains. There was a lovely patio area which was nice to sit on at night and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We found a good local tavern with great food as well. To summarise, we would absolutely recommend this place wholeheartedly. Thanks for having us!
My stay was very enjoyable! Facilities were just as described and the WiFi worked great. It was a particularly cold winter spell and I was very comfortable. The host was concerned all was good and very caring and friendly. I liked the country setting and the very light traffic on the road. I highly recommend it!
We had a perfect AirBnB experience at this fabulous old farm house. Jane's Mom was a welcoming and considerate host - nothing was too much trouble and she had heaps of good advice about where to go for the best "leaf peeping". Everything was beautifully presented but the atmosphere was relaxed. We spent happy times catting around the dining room table.
We had a great stay with Jane's mum Anne (we didn't actually meet Jane as she lives in California). She was a great host with plenty of ideas of what to do in the area. Anne provided us with freshly made pancakes & oatmeal and she was very helpful. We loved the old & unique house. We had half the house for us incl a living room & dining room. In Campton itself is not much going on, so if you are looking for a quiet night, that's your place. Great experience, thanks.
We arrived late on a Friday night. Ann, Jane's Mom, told me over the phone exactly what we needed to do to arrive. Although the sign for the house number was small, we eventually figured it out. Although the bed was a full size, we were comfortable enough. Ann invited us to use any part of the living area to make ourselves comfortable. We were hiking for the weekend; places were within a 30 minute drive to where we wanted to go in the Whites. Ann made us delicious blueberry pancakes on Sunday morning. We would definitely stay again.
We had the best breakfasts on our trip during our stay here. Also the room and the house are beautiful and we loved chatting with our host.
I unfortunately got sick the day we were scheduled to go. We weren't able to get a refund which is always a bummer, but Jane was very nice.
This is a lovely and quiet place with nice people and yummy breakfast.
Jane, her friend and two young children were a pleasure to host! They were quiet, polite and left our Tompeca Cottage like they'd never stayed in it! Would recommend Jane to any potential renters.
