Hi there. Thank you for checking out my profile. I just wanted to let you know that I am very trustworthy, clean, respectful and delight creative thinking. I love to dream and explore and am an Artist in more ways than one. My preferred medium is Clay, but I don't get to dabble very much without access to a kiln. My second love is Photography and LOVE my digital camera. We go everywhere together with me happily click/ click/ clicking away and everything from an insect on a leaf to puffy clouds in the sky. I was unemployed for two years after being downsized and couldn't stand to just sit around and wait for the phone not to ring from all the applications I was sending out so I decided to go back to school. I studied Art and Graphic Design for two years, adding to my educational depth and enjoying every minute of it. I recently landed a fantastic job with the Army Corps of Engineers last October 2011 and have been learning the ropes (and numerous acronyms), gaining confidence in my job and getting to know my co-workers. I consider myself to be exponentially Blessed to have this job and be in the position that I am in. It couldn't have come at a better time in my life. On a personal level, I live in a loverly two bedroom Brownstone near downtown KC, very close to city action on one side of me and my country roots on the other side of me. Ahhh... the life of a Mid-Westerner is awesome. I love it! I am also a HUGE animal lover. I have one kitty kat that I recently adopted from The KC Siamese Rescue. He's a beautiful, cuddle-buddy named Remy, short for Rembrandt because his coloring reminded me of a Rembrandt's paintings. He's two years old and he's still got alot of kitten in him, chasing his shadow and strings and accidentally dropped cotton balls all over the house like they were the most succulent prey ever. He's a silly boy! I love him so much! I also have a Chinchilla that I actually found in the Best Buy parking lot. He was injured, missing an ear when I found him. I imagine he escaped from his previous owner, crawled up into a car engine to get warm, took a ride to Best Buy and in the process got his ear loped off by the car's fan belt. I scooped him up, took him immediately to the Emergency Vet and found out he was ok, just in shock and missing an ear. I took him home and nursed him back to health and he's been a great addition to my fur-family ever since. Oh... wait... get this... I named him Vincent, after Van Gogh...Ya know, because of the one ear. It's fitting. He's a happy little guy and LOVES/ LOVES/ LOVES raisins and Timothy hay. Amazing little creature!!! I m Disney gal. Worked at the Magic Kingdom in Orlando for nine months on thier College Program... yet another interesting thing about me. It was totally amazing and I would do it again in a heartbeat.) Ok.... for real... B-Bye Now. (((CHEESE))) :D
