Just love travelling and have a huge passion for Italy where we've settled down for the moment enjoying the art and culture of the country and learning the language (and the Italian kitchen of course)!

we have really enjoyed the stay in your house in Montalto!
Thank you very much.
You have done a terrific job in making it a personal home as well as a charming guest house.
The idea with this small food shop in the entrance is just great for travelers who arrive late and who are hungry.
Your directions to find the place as well as the well prepared booklets in the house were very handy.
Maria was a great help with everything. She knows this village, her country and her county so well. The wine testing at Poderi Dei Colli was accompanied by all her small stories of this area - a great experience.
Speaking in English and Italian with all hands, arms, legs and feet helped to make the village our home town, too. She even showed us the grotto under the Cathedral.
We are looking forward to coming back to Montalto next year.
All the best
Susanne & Reinhard
One of the most charming places I have ever been to. The hosts were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for you, every little thing is taken care of and the apartment has everything you could possibly need, is spotlessly clean and is stunning. The views are incredible and the experience nothing but pure relaxation. It is very easy to get around with lots of things to see and do and great restaurants on your doorstep and the information provided by the hosts is second to none. Thank you so much Mark and Andy for letting me stay in your wonderful home, I will definitely be returning as soon as possible.
What a wonderful find. This apartment is full of character and charm and equipped with everything you could need for a great holiday. In addition the owners are so welcoming that you immediately feel as if they are friends rather than just hosts. It would be impossible not to leave here feeling relaxed and rested. Montalto is a beautiful village and you really feel as if you have stepped back in time into the real Italy. My only regret is that my visit was so short but I have no doubts that I will definitely be returning for a longer stay.
