The house is clean and is so spacious for four people. Almost with everything that needed for everyday life, the refrigerator, washing machine, heater. The Japanese-style bedroom is so unique and comfortable. We really love the decorations and the warm environment created by the host. BTW, the sight is great outside the bedroom. The location of the house is wonderful, in a quiet neighborhood, but still can get to the bus stop in 5 mins, and only takes 20-25mins( the most) to the Sumikawa subway station. The host is so nice, we arrived at midnight, he still came to the subway station to fetch us. Really a great place to stay in Sapporo! ：D
The house is pretty nice and warm. We have 5 adults and sleep very well every nights. This place is about 20mins drive to Sapporo station.
Sebastians Place is very nice and totally worth it. We enjoyed our stay very much. If we will be back in Sapporo we will stay again in his house. Sebastian was super uncomplicated and friendly.
It was great staying. House was clean, and have everything needed. I especially loved tatami room where the tatami stayed warm and cozy. Sebastien always helped when I asked for something, and offered help when I needed something.
Location is not in the city center, but again, not really far away from city center, bus from the house to the sumikawa subway station is available until quite late in the night, and from sumikawa to the city center is very quick.
They were very nice, helpful and can give good tips, specially if you're planning on skiing. The house was very clean as well. Once you arrive there, the bus to the station is very close to the house.
It was really nice to stay in Sebastien's house. The house is located in a very quiet, peaceful and safe neighborhood. The rooms (living room, tatami room, kitchen and toilet/bathroom) are all well equipped. Also a piano in the living room which my friend has played:) There is also parking place available for our rent car. Sebastien and his wife Hiroko are very nice people. We felt really lucky and happy to stay in this apartment for 4 nights.
Warm cosy rooms....lovely traditional tatami floors. Hosts helpful, warm and welcoming. Lovely safe neighbourhood. Thanks for hosting us.
Snow paradise indeed! The house is lovely, perfect for a family of 5 - spacious and in a peaceful and safe neighborhood. My 3 girls were snugly settled in the warm and cosy tatami room, thanks to Seb's wife, Hiroko who helped set up the beddings on our first night. The house is a short walk to the bus-stop which is a 15 min ride to the train station which then takes us to Sapporo city in 20min. Best to purchase a 1 day pass which allow for unlimited use on both the train and bus at 1000yen for adults and 500yen for children. Kitchen is fully equipped for those who wish to cook but the supermarket is a 20min walk away. Toiletries, and other amenities similar to a serviced apartment are provided for, which is a pleasant surprise, being our first airbnb experience. Seb and Hiroko were very warm and friendly hosts. Despite coming back only in the wee hours of the morning from work, they offered to send us to the bus station to catch our bus to Niseko. It was a great holiday experience and we will definitely stay at the snow paradise house when we are next in Sapporo, rather than staying at a hotel in Sapporo city.
It was great to have you at the house! Thanks for the lovely review
This has been my favourite Airbnb experience to date. It felt great to be guests at Seb and Hiroko's place. Although we arrived a little early, Hiroko accommodated us and we had a great chat. We went out that night and came home to a warm house with made futons ready for us. The next morning we could look out our window to see the snow falling. The room you get to sleep in at Seb and Hiroko's place is beautiful and ridiculously warm. You also have access to your own spacious bathroom, kitchen and living room. The location was convenient for getting in and out of town - a bus ride down the hill to Sumikawa and then a train to the CBD. We found the whole trip took 25 minutes.
Stay at this place if you plan on exploring Sapporo or Hokkaido. It is great!
I had 4 nights stay with a really good time traveling around Hokkaido. The accommodation was very comfortable and quiet. The facilities are excellent. Just a bit wired about the toilet sitting in front of the bath room. If you go there with close friends or family, it would be great. Seb is very friendly. He can give you a quick guide about the accommodation and facilities. Good for who will rent a car travelling around Hokkaido.
