It was the first time I had used airbnb and have to say I wasn't sure what to expect. The house was perfect for staying for the marathon weekend. Great value and a great host. Would certainly stay again.
Everything went smoothly on our arrival. Paco left the key for us. We enjoyed our stay. The house is charming and comfortable, and the area is peaceful and clean. Public transport is easily accessible from the flat. We would definitely stay here again if we were in London.
lovely house, very comfortable, clean but shabby. uncomplicated and helpful hosts. some information at the beginning (e.g. how to turn on the heating) would have been nice. all in all we had a pleasant stay!
We stayed in Lola's lovely home for three nights, and loved it. It was so cosy and we felt right at home. The location was perfect. It was only a 10 min walk from Elephant and Castle and had a Tesco Express very close. We found nice places to eat close to the house, and East Market (close to the house as well) was very authentic. The neighborhood just around the house was very quite (though you could hear the people living above this 1st story apartment a bit), which was nice, but at the same time it only took a 5 min walk and then you were part of the city life again. We warmly recommend the place - ideal for a couple's weekend. Thank you for a nice stay Lola - and Paco (who handed over the the key).
I was welcomed by Lola's friend Paco, who was very helpful and quick to answer whenever I needed help. The apartment itself isn't incredibly modern, but it is rather charming in an artistic way.
I liked the neighbourhood as well, having never been to this part of London (the south). It's a bit rough, but has a lot of colour, and feels pretty vibrant with the street markets and the restaurants the area has to offer and so on.
Lola has a very nice cosy house in somewhat central London.
The house is old, hence you can hear the neighbours walking around all day/night above you. I would advise against if your a light sleeper or sensitive to noise.
The house does need work.. especially the small out door courtyard, however it has charm and feels like a home compared to many other air bnb places.
There was lots of public transport which was great.
I would recommend Lola's house to anyone looking for value for money, as it would be hard to find anything better in central London.
Lola introduced me to Paco who was very friendly, helpful and provided me with useful and accurate information.
The house, although old, is in great condition, clean, spacious, cozy and very very warm! I loved it! The neighbourhood is quiet and in a very convenient location, providing quick and easy access to central London.
It will definitely be my first choice the next time I'll be in London!
Lola introduced me Paco, he took care of every little details thru out the stay. Cozy house indeed. Very conveinent location, quite and safe.
Had a good time and enjoyed the stay.
Lovely house with everything we needed in a good location. Very quick to get to buses and tube into town. We had a great time.
Petite maison sympa. Bien desservit par plusieurs bus. Toutes les pièces étaient très bien chauffé et je n'ai pas eu de problèmes d'humidité ni de problème de pression d'eau. À ce tarif la on ne trouve pas grand chose de similaire à Londres.
