My mom, aunt and I stayed at Jeppe's the beginning of May, 2015. We had an excellent stay. You can see The Chapultepec Palace from the window, and it's an easy walk to get to the park. The metro is two blocks away, it's one of the best and cheapest in the world. We had an excellent time there! Amazing location. Spare beds are rather uncomfortable, but if you aren't picky as to what you're sleeping on then it's an excellent place.
Jeppe's apartment at Condesa was even larger than I first imagined, very clean, stylish and we immediately felt at home. Claudio, Jeppe's friend was here to help us and organized a cab when we left. The manual with instructions and tips on where to eat was very helpful. Only downside: traffic from the main street can be heard at night, but hey, it's a metropolis, so not an issue. We loved the place. Thanks Jeppe!
The space was as described - beautiful, very well lit, well located, and clean. Jeppe's representative, Claudio, was very kind, including meeting us at 0245 after our flight was delayed and we got in wayyyyy too late. The space worked perfectly with two small kids, including having a box of legos and a few kids books (albeit in French) for our 5 year old to enjoy! Loved the views, loved the spaciousness, generally loved this place. We'd be happy to return. And - as noted by others - the bottle of wine was a lovely touch and well appreciated after long days exploring DF with two smalls.
We really enjoyed our stay in Jeppe's apartment! Claudio was there to meet us when we arrived and briefly showed us around. The apartment was as pictured, clean, simple with nice light. There were games and toys in the bedroom with two twin beds, which my kids loved. The location was great and we felt safe walking around the neighborhood. The laminated information sheets were helpful with locations of a grocery store, bakery, restaurants and more!
Great apartment in a great location. Stayed six nights and will definitely return.
Clean and spacious with a beautiful urban view.
Host very friendly and accommodating.
I spent a wonderful 5 days at Jeppe's place in Condesa. First time visiting Mexico City. Location near metro and so many restaurants/cafes was perfect. Easy walk to Roma Norte and Polanco. Apartment was clean and decor was minimalist/open with nice views. Overall, apartment is great value and highly recommended.
Jeppe was very responsive after I booked and his friend met us punctually at the apartment when we arrived despite our inability to communicate upon landing without cell coverage. The apartment itself was in an incredibly convenient location just next to Chapultepec metro in the wonderful neighborhood of Condesa. The apartment was massive, light-filled, and comfortable. If I went back to Mexico City, I'd stay here again.
Jeppe's place is exactly as described - spacious, lots of light, and well-located in Condesa. Jeppe was extremely responsive to e-mails and questions, and the entire process was very smooth. He also prepared instructions and guides to the neighborhood, which he left for us in the apartment. The neighborhood felt safe, and the apartment was very close to restaurants, trendy stores, Chapultepec park, and the metro.
Only downside: the second bedroom has two small beds, but the mattresses are not particularly comfortable unless stacked.
Overall, I highly recommend this apartment. The host even left us a bottle of wine when we arrived!
Jeppe was always available online to answer questions. Although he was not in Mexico City his friend Claudio met us and was extremely kind and helpful. A bottle of wine was welcoming us and the kitchen was stocked with food left by others which we could use and replace with other. There were four sheets with information including taxi numbers and restaurant recommendations.
The apartment is large, bright and clean, the kitchen well equipped and we liked the location close to the metro station, various museums, many nice restaurants and Tuesday's street market.
We very much enjoyed the privacy of two bedrooms. There are only two things we could see improved: the mattresses in the second bedroom were a bit hard (I just had a hip replacement) and the living room furniture a bit uncomfortable.
Overall we would recommend this apartment. It was our first experience with Airbnb and we were very happy with its easy booking process.
Jeppe was great! Very professional and respectful guest, Quite and neat!!
Jeppe (Pieter) was an awesome guest. He had a last-minute booking, but was very communicative, friendly, and professional. He made great conversation and was also very respectful of the home and left everything perfect. We would be happy to host him any time!
